New Pokémon are released in Pokémon GO now and then. This happens especially through events. It is customary for Pokémon to debut via new weekly events. At other times, other forms of existing Pokémon debut during other activities in Pokémon.
April 2026 is no exception!
At the time of writing this, here are the new Pokémon to be released in Pokémon GO in April 2026.
New Pokémon to be Released: Dynamax Pokémon
- Dynamax Trapinch, a Ground-type Pokémon from the Hoenn Region.
- Dynamax Regirock, a Rock-type Legendary Pokémon from the Hoenn Region.
Costumed Pokémon
- Galarian Corsola wearing Pink Sunglasses.
New Pokémon
- Mimikyu, first discovered in the Alola region
- Silicobra and its Evolution, Sandaconda, were discovered in the Galar region.
- Orthworm, first discovered in the Paldea region
Shiny Pokémon
- Shiny Toedscool and its Evolution, Shiny Toedscruel.
- Shiny Orthworm
- Shiny Varoom and its Evolution, Shiny Revavroom
Shadow Pokémon
- Shadow Landorus (Incarnate Forme)
- Shadow Helioptile and its Evolution Shadow Heliolisk
- Shadow Dewpider and its Evolution Shadow Araquanid
- Shadow Morelull and its Evolution, Shadow Shiinotic
- Shadow Stufful and its Evolution, Shadow Bewear
