The Reshiram Recommended Counters are what you and your battle team need to have to defeat Reshiram in raids successfully. Reshiram will be available in raids from Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at 6:00 a.m. local time to Tuesday, June 9, at 9:00 p.m. local time.

Reshiram Recommended Counters

Reshiram is a Dragon- and Fire-type Legendary Pokémon that is weak to Pokémon with Dragon-, Ground-, and Rock-type attacks. Therefore, you will need to use the Pokémon that can learn these attacks.

These Pokémon are as follows.

• Primal Groudon with Mud Shot as a Fast Attack and Precipice Blades as a Charged Attack.
• Rayquaza with Dragon Tail as a Fast Attack and Breaking Swipe as a Charged Attack.
• Shadow Groudon with Mud Shot as a Fast Attack and Precipice Blades as a Charged Attack.
• Shadow Garchomp with Dragon Tail as a Fast Attack and Earth Power as a Charged Attack.
• Shadow Rhyperior with Mud-Slap as a Fast Attack and Rock Wrecker as a Charged Attack.
• Dialga (Origin Forme) with Dragon Breath as a Fast Attack and Roar of Time as a Charged Attack.

These are the Pokémon you should save in your battle party and swap to whenever you join a Reshiram raid.

Other options?

Of course, there are other options to use. This is only recommended if you have at least 5 Trainers participating in the raid.

The following are the other options.

• Mega Tyranitar with Bullet Punch as a Fast Attack and Meteor Mash as a Charged Attack.
• Eternatus with Dragon Tail as a Fast Attack and Dynamax Cannon as a Charged Attack.
• Shadow Salamence with Dragon Tail as a Fast Attack and Draco Meteor as a Charged Attack.
• Diancie with Rock Throw as a Fast Attack and Rock Slide as a Charged Attack.

Hundo CP for Reshiram from Raids

The hundo CP (i.e., the perfect CP) for Reshiram caught from raids depends on the in-game weather condition when it was caught. If caught during Windy or Sunny weather conditions in-game, the hundo CP is 2884 CP. Otherwise, the hundo CP is 2307 CP. If any of these is Shiny, that’s a shundo.

Reshiram’s Best Moveset

If you get a good hundo, you should teach it Fire Fang as a Fast Attack and Fusion Flare as a Charged Attack. This is if you want to make it a Fire-type Attacker. Otherwise, teach it Dragon Breath as a Fast Attack and Draco Meteor as a Charged Attack if you want to make it a Dragon-type Attacker.

Reshiram is better as a Fire-type Attacker.
