Articuno is one of the original legendary trio. Original because it is part of the Pokémon released in the first region – Kanto. It has a PokéDex number of 144, which is the first of the three legendary birds. The second, Zapdos is 145th while the third, Moltres is 146.
Myth: Aticuno is a Legendary Pokémon that can control ice and can make it snow just by flapping its wings. This is because the flapping of its wings chills the air. As a result, there is snowfall whenever it flies. On the other hand, it is said that Articuno will save lost travelers during perilous icy conditions.
Stats: A normal Articuno weighs 55.4 KG and has a height of 1.7 M. Articuno has a stat of 192 Attack, 236 Defense, and 207 HP. It has a maximum CP of 1,308 at level 15. Its recommended Fast Attack is Frost Breath while the Charged Attack is Ice Beam.
Strength and Weakness: Articuno is an Ice- and Flying-type Pokémon. This makes it weak to Rock-, Fire-, Steel- and Electric-type attacks. It is however resistant to Bug-, Grass-, and Ground-type attacks.
