The Community Ambassador Program is a program organized for Pokémon GO Trainers. The program enables any Pokémon GO Trainer to lead different events for their community. It also enables Trainers to serve as a link between The Pokémon Company and other Trainers in their respective communities.
if you have ever attended a Community Ambassador event hosted via the Campfire App, you may have an idea of some of the things a Community Ambassador does. If not, here is an introduction to what a Community Ambassador does.
What Does a Community Ambassador Do?
The Community Ambassador Program enables a Community Ambassdor to voluntarily support local, in-person Pokémon GO community. They empower the experiences of other Trainers during an in-person event. Community Ambassadors are Pokémon GO Trainers who receive special perks (e.g., item codes, swag for giveaways, promo codes) for their communities from The Pokémon Company. In addition, they provide ongoing support to grow their local scene. Furthermore, in some cases, they offer feedback on certain issues regarding Pokémon GO and the Trainers.
If you are ready to run in-person events in your area, grow your community, and create a safe space for Trainers to play, then you are the right person to apply for the Pokémon GO Community Ambassador Program. You will become part of the several Pokémon GO Community Ambassadors.

Community Ambassador Regions
Currently, Pokémon GO Trainers in the following regions (or countries) can apply to become a Community Ambassador.
- The Americas
- Europe
- The Middle East
- Africa
- Australia
- New Zealand
- Japan
- South Korea
- Taiwan
- Hong Kong.
Steps to Apply to become a Community Ambassador
- Fill out the application form. Go to the Community Ambassador Application page and make sure you complete and submit the application form.
- Wait for the initial review of your application. After the initial review of your application, you will be invited to join a community of applicants and continue with the vetting process.
- Run at least four community events. You will need to run this minimum number of events after you have been added to the group of other applicants. You will need to prove this by submitting a group photo of each event.
- Final background and safety check. After those four events and submission of proofs, the Pokémon Company will conduct a final background and safety check of you and your community.
