Dudunsparce debuts in Pokémon GO during the Completely Normal event. Dudunsparce, the Land Snake Pokémon is the evolution of Dunsparce. You will need 50 Dunsparce Candy to evolve Dunsparce into Dudunsparce.
Dudunsparce Pokémon
Dudunsparce is a Generation 9 Normal-type Pokémon with a maximum Combat Power of 3097 CP. As a normal-type Pokémon, it is weak to Pokémon with fighting-type moves. It has an attack stat of 188, an defense stat of 150 , and a HP stat of 268. It’s HP stat makes it one of the tanky Pokémon in Pokémon GO. To put that into perspective, Snorlax, a tank Pokémon has a HP stat of 330
Dudunsparce has two different forms – the two-segment form and the three-segment form. Getting the three-segment form is rarer than getting the two-segment form via evolving Dunsparce.
Completely Normal event
The Completely Normal event is on Tuesday, September 23, at 10:00 a.m. local time. It continues until Saturday, September 27, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. local time. In addition to Dudunsparce debuting in Pokémon GO, Trainers participating in the event will also have access to the following event-themed bonuses.
- 2× Candy for catching Pokémon.
- 2× XP for evolving Pokémon.
- Increased chance to encounter Shiny Dunsparce.
- Increased chance to encounter Ditto.
Please note that Ditto will be changing into different Pokémon in the wild during the event. Ditto is going to take the form of different Pokémon during and after the event ends. Be on the lookout for these new Ditto-disguises.
Different event-themed Pokémon may be appearing in the wild. These are Normal-type Pokémon such as Dunsparce, Sentret, Buneary, Audino and more.
Dudunsparce Debuts in Pokémon GO
With the debut of Dudunsparce in Pokémon GO, Dudunsparce Onesie, a new avatar item, will be available to purchase in the in-game shop during the Completely Normal event. The Onesie will continue to be available for purchase after the event ends.
Futhermore, there will be a Paid Timed Research for US$1.99 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency). You’ll be able to access event-exclusive Timed Research. Completing the Timed Research will reward you with 5,000 XP, Two Lucky Eggs, and encounters with Dunsparce.
