Recommended Strategies for defeating Dynamax Legendary Pokémon

Now that you have the best counters for each Dynamax Legendary Pokémon, here are the recommended strategies. In addition to the recommended counters, you need to implement these strategies. Moreover, you would not be able to use all of the recommended Pokémon in battle. In essence, you need a good strategy to make effective use of them.

  • Use the recommended defenders to build up the max meter for the recommended attackers. You will want to max the Max Guard or Max Spirit for the recommended defenders. Use either the Max Guard or Max Spirit when needed. You can use the Max Guard to protect only your Pokémon. You can use the Max Spirit to heal your teammates Pokémon.
  • Use the recommended attackers only in the Max Battle Max Phase. You should max the Max Attacks of these Pokémon.
  • Always swap back to the recommended defender after the Max Phase ends. It is wise to swap to the defender that has more health left.
  • Make sure you create a Battle Party with the recommended counters for the Dynamax Legendary Pokémon you want to battle. Don’t forget to swap to this Battle Party when you get into the Max Battle. The recommended team is two defenders and one attacker.
