Enchanted Hollow event: Tarountula and Spidops debuts

The Enchanted Hollow event in Pokémon GO starts on Tuesday, November 4, at 10:00 a.m. local time. It will continue until Sunday, November 9, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. local time. The event features the debut of Tarountula, the String Ball Pokémon, and Spidops, the Trap Pokémon.

Spidops is the evolution Tarountula. You need 50 Tarountula Candy to evolve Tarountula into Spidops.

Tarountula and Spidops

Tarountula is a Bug-type Pokémon. Its maximum Combat Power (CP) is 646 CP. Its PokéDex number is 917 which makes it a Paldean Pokémon. Likewise its evolution, Spidops is a Paldean Pokémon with PokéDex number 918. Spidops is also a Bug-type Pokémon. Its maximum Combat Power (CP) is 1907 CP.

Glow and GO

During the event, Trainers will experience event-themed patches of forestry beneath PokéStops.

Bonuses

Trainers participating in the event will enjoy the following benefits

  • 2× XP for spinning PokéStops.
  • 2× Lure Module duration.
  • Increased chance of encountering Shiny Paras and Shiny Stantler.

Wild encounters

Event-themed Pokémon such as Paras, Stantler, Nickit and more will be appearing in the wild. Tarountula will be appearing in the wild but less frequently.

Increased Mossy Lure Encounters

Trainers who activate Mossy Lure on PokéStops during the event will find the following Pokémon attracted to the Mossy Lure Modules

  • Paras
  • Stantler
  • Cottonee
  • Petilil
  • Karrablast
  • Shelmet
  • Tarountula

Raids

The following Pokémon will be featured in their respective raid tiers.

  • One-Star Raids: Paras, Stantler, and Tarountula
  • Three-Star Raids: Leavanny, Scolipede, and Drampa

Other event features

The Enchanted Hollow event also includes the following features.

  • Collection Challenges that will reward XP, and encounters with Tarountula
  • Field Research Tasks that will reward encounters with event-themed Pokémon
  • Paid Timed Research that will reward Mossy Lure Module, two Incense, three Lucky Eggs, encounters with a Paras, Stantler, Drampa, and Tarountula, and more!
