Gigantamax Butterfree Recommended Counters

Gigantamax Butterfree is a Bug- and Flying-type Pokémon. It is double-weak to Pokémon with Rock-type moves. It is also single-weak to Pokémon with either Flying-, Fire-, Electric-, or Ice-type moves. Thankfully, we have a few useful Pokémon in their Dynamax or Gigantamax form that can learn the moves Butterfree is weak to. They are as follows.

  • Zamazenta (Crowned Shield) with Metal Claw as a Fast Attack and Behemoth Bash as a Charged Attack. The role of this Pokémon is a defender and should be the Pokémon in the first team slot. It should have its Max Guard maxed.
  • Dynamax Zapdos with Thunder Shock as a Fast Attack and Thunder as a Charged Attack. The role of this Pokémon is an attacker and should be the Pokémon in the second team slot. It should have its Max Attack maxed.
  • Gigantamax Charizard with Air Slash as a Fast Attack and Fire Spin as a Charged Attack. The role of this Pokémon is an attacker and should be the Pokémon in the third team slot. It should have its Max Attack maxed.

Good luck with your max battle weekend.
