The Pokémon GO Gigantamax Machamp Max Battle Day is on Sunday, May 25, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. This event features the debut of Gigantamax Machamp in six-star Max Battles. Trainers who participate in the Max Battles can encounter Shiny Gigantamax Machamp if lucky.
Gigantamax Machamp Max Battle Day Event Bonuses
The following bonuses will be active during the event.
- The collection limit for Max Particles increased to 1,600.
- All Power Spots will host Gigantamax Machamp.
- Power Spots will refresh every 30 minutes.
- 800 Max Particles can be collected from Power Spots.
- Two (2) additional Special Trades can be made, making a total of Three (3) for the day.
In addition, the following bonuses will be active on May 25, 2025, from 12:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time.
- 0.5 km adventuring distance to receive Max Particles.
- 600 Max Particles from exploring.
Gigantamax Machamp Max Battle Day Event Timed Research
A Timed Research will be available leading into the event i.e., from May 19 at 6:00 p.m. local time to May 25 at 5:00 p.m. local time. Completing the Timed Research will award Trainers an encounter with Dynamax Beldum. Also, rewards such as Candy and Max Particles will be available to help power up your team.
Pokémon GO Max Battle Day Event Ticket
A paid ticket will be available for US $4.99 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency). Buying this ticket grants Trainers access to an event-themed Timed Research. This Timed Research will be effective on Sunday, May 25, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. Completing the Timed Research rewards Trainers with the following.
- 1 Max Mushroom
- 25,000 XP
Also, Trainers who purchase the event ticket will receive 2× XP from Max Battles and an increased Max Particle collection limit of 5,600.
