GO Battle League Precious Paths Update: Most Important Details
GO Battle League Precious Paths! Another Season of Pokémon GO is upon us. As a custom, new Season comes with new updates to the GO Battle League system. There are lot of information you will need to keep in mind for the new GO Battle League Season. Here, you will find the most important details. However, you may want to bookmark this page so you can easily get back to it if you forget some of the details.
GO Battle League Precious Paths Schedule
The new season starts on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. PST (GMT −8). At the start of the new season, you will be able to claim your previous GO Battle League season’s rewards from the Battle screen. Likewise, your GO Battle League rank will be reset. You will then need to rank-up your level using the same requirements as the prior season.
The season will continue until Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. PST (GMT −8). You can see which League (and Cup) format is available and upcoming by checking the Battle section of the Pokémon GO app. You can also see the schedule for December 2025 on December 2025 Pokémon GO Events. The schedule for January, February and March will be available on each month’s event plan.
GO Battle Week: Precious Paths
This season’s GO Battle Week will start on Thursday, December 4, at 12:00 a.m. local time. It will continue until Monday, December 8, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. local time. During these days, the following bonuses will be available.
- 4× Stardust from win rewards. (This does not include end-of-set rewards.)
- A maximum of 20 sets of battles can be played per day for a total of 100 battles.
- Free battle-themed Timed Research will be available. Rewards include shoes for your avatar inspired by Grusha.
- Pokémon encountered via GO Battle League rewards will have a wider variance of Attack, Defense, and HP.
- You can use a Charged TM to help a Shadow Pokémon forget the Charged Attack Frustration.
Guaranteed Rank-Up Encounters
The following Pokémon will show up as guaranteed encounters when you get to their respective rank. Please note, you will need to win at least 3 out of the 5 battles during a set to be able to encounter either Pokémon.
- Rank 1: Galarian Yamask
- Rank 6: Pancham
- Rank 17: Togetic
- Rank 18: Honedge
- Rank 19: Dreepy
- Rank 20: Pikachu Libre
Only Galarian Yamask, Pancham, and Togetic can be shiny.
GO Battle League Timed Research Pass
A pass to access battle-themed Timed Research will be available in the in-game shop at no cost once GO Battle League: Precious Paths begins. This Timed Research will keep track of your victories throughout the Season. Each research page will require 100 battles and 50 wins to complete, and doing so will award Stardust and items such as Rare Candy XL, an Elite Fast TM, and an Elite Charged TM.
Guaranteed Avatar Items
The following avatar items will be available as reward upon reaching their respective ranks.
- Rank 17: Shoes inspired by Grusha
- Rank 18: Pants inspired by Grusha.
- Rank 19: Top inspired by Grusha.
- Rank 20: Pose inspired by Grusha.
FUN FACT: Grusha is an Ice-type Gym Leader in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, who was once a professional snowboarder.
