I played the GO Battle League Season 19 – Shared Skies casually. I did this so I could ‘easily’ track my progress throughout the season. I was able to do this because there were days and weeks where I did not do any battle and there were others where I did a lot of battle. Here, you will find the data and information about my progress through the past season 19.
Battle Days
The GO Battle League Season 19 – Shared Skies started on Saturday, June 1, 2024, and ended on Tuesday, September 3, 2024. I battled on the following days of each month.
- June 2024: 3rd – 12th, 14th, 16th – 17th, 21st, and 24th – 28th.
- July 2024: 12th, 16th, 19th, 22nd, and 26th
- August 2024: 3rd, 11th – 23rd, 25th – 27th, and 29th – 31st.
- September 2024: 3rd.
That is a total of 45 battle days, which is half of the whole days for GO Battle League Season 19.
Battles Done and Battles Won
I did a total of 604 battles and won 314. This results in a win rate of 51.99 percent. However, out of the 604 battles done, I tanked a total of 170 battles. Essentially, I won 308 battles out of 434. This gives a win rate of 70.97 percent if you ignore the wins and losses while tanking.
This is the part where I need to briefly explain why I tanked 170 battles. I did that for two main reasons – (i) to get more Stardust, Rare Candy, and other items, and (ii) to be able to do many battles during Season 19’s GO Battle Week.
Season 19’s GO Battle Week was on Friday, August 16, 2024, at 12:00 a.m. to Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. local time. I tanked 70 battles the week before (August 13th – 15th) and 100 battles during the GO Battle week (August 17th, 19th, and 20th).
So what did I get?
Battle Rewards
I was able to accumulate a few Stardust, Rare Candy, and other items. The table below so how many for each reward.

In addition to the 843,303 accumulated during the season, I got an extra 165,000 from the end of the season rank rewards. That makes a total of 1,008,303 Stardust, 18 Fast TM, and 33 Charged TM.
Battle Ranks
I started at rank 1 on Monday, June 3, 2024, and got to rank 21 (Ace Rank) on Monday, August 12, 2024. I started tanking battles the day after and remained at Ace Rank till the end of the season.
Ranks ELO
I got to Ace Rank with an ELO of 2042. This was because I had a win rate of 57.89 percent from winning 121 battles out of 209. After tanking more battles than winning, I ended the season with an ELO of 1943. Remember, you need an ELO of 2000 to reach Ace Rank.
Pokémon Encounters
In addition to the items, I got a total of 71 Pokémon encounters. They are as follows.

Battle Leagues Done
I participated in a few of the battle leagues. Here is a list of the battle leagues and amount of battles done.
- Great League: 25 battles done and 14 battles won. a win rate of 56 percent. I used a variety of Pokémon. However, I mostly used a team of Lanturn, Tapu Fini, and Lickitung.
- Great League – Summer Cup: 5 battles done and 3 battles won. a win rate of 60 percent. I used a team of Lanturn, Tapu Fini, and Ferrothorn.
- Great League – Fossil Cup: 15 battles done and 3 battles won. a win rate of 20 percent. I used a team of Melmetal, Lucario, and Lapras but tanked 10 battles.
- Great League – Catch Cup: 65 battles done and 2 battles won. a win rate of 3 percent. I used a team of 10 CP Pokémon so I could tank all the battles but got 2 free wins.
- Ultra Premier League: 35 battles done and 20 battles won. a win rate of 57.14 percent. I used a variety of Pokémon. However, I mostly used a team of Tentacruel, Galarain Weezing, and Cradily.
- Ultra League: 31 battles done and 27 battles won. a win rate of 87.10 percent. I used a variety of Pokémon. However, I mostly used a team of Tentacruel, Tapu Fini, and Virizion.
- Master League: 418 battles done and 239 battles won. a win rate of 57.18 percent. I mainly used a team of Togekiss, Yveltal, and Kyogre. I tanked 100 battles in the Master League during the GO Battle Week. so, a win rate of 75.16 percent.
- Master Premier League: 10 battles done and 6 battles won. a win rate of 60 percent. I mainly used a team of Shadow Gardevoir, Metgross, and Shadow Gyarados.
As you can understand, I had more interest in battling in the Master League than any other league. I had less interest in battling or winning in the Great League.
