GO Big with Dynamax Pokémon

It is the second event of the Max Out Season in Pokémon GO. Now is the time to GO BIG in Pokémon GO and experience the first Dynamax Battles. Some Dynamax Pokémon will be making their debut in Pokémon GO via Max Battles. The event starts on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. local time and ends on Sunday, September 15, 2024, at 8:00 p.m. local time.

Pokémon Debuts

The following Pokémon will make their Dynamax debuts in Pokémon GO. They will be available in one-star Max Battles

  • Bulbasaur
  • Charmander
  • Squirtle
  • Skwovet
  • Wooloo

All can be shiny. Also, these Pokémon caught after defeating them in Max Battles (and their evolutions) can be Dynamaxed during Max Battles.

Event Bonuses

During the event, trainers will have access to the following bonuses.

  • 2x XP for winning a Max Battle.
  • 2x XP for spinning PokéStops.

Field Research Tasks

There will be event-themed Field Research tasks that reward trainers with an encounter with certain Pokémon, depending on which task is it. The following Pokémon will be available as an encounter after completing a Field Research task.

  • Bulbasaur
  • Charmander
  • Squirtle
  • Skwovet
  • Wooloo

All can be shiny

Max Out Special Research

Another part of the Seasonal Special Research story will be available to all Trainers beginning at the start of the event. Trainers can complete tasks focused on Max Battles to earn Max Particles, a Dynamax Band, and more!

PokéStop Showcases

Be on the lookout for showcases at different PokéStops. You will have an opportunity to showcase your largest Pokémon and be able to get items when the showcase ends.
