Pokémon Type of the Week: Grass

For the week of August 5th to August 11th, 2023, I caught 1,678 Pokémon in Pokémon GO. Most of which are of the Grass-type Pokémon. Although there are a lot of double-typing Pokémon in Pokémon GO, I caught a total of 594 Pokémon which share the Grass-type with other Pokémon types.

The huge number of Grass-type Pokémon caught this week is a result of the Glittering Garden event in Pokémon GO which featured a lot of Grass-type Pokémon. These were Pokémon such as Bulbasaur (a Grass- and Poison-type Pokémon), Oddish (a Grass- and Poison-type Pokémon), Hoppip (a Grass- and Flying-type Pokémon), Seedot (a Grass- and Dark-type Pokémon), Cacnea (a Grass-type Pokémon), Petilil (a Grass-type Pokémon), and Ferroseed (a Grass- and Steel-type Pokémon).
