Halloween 2025 (Part 2): New Costumed Pokémon Debuts
Halloween 2025 (Part 2) is coming up in Pokémon GO on Monday, October 27, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. local time. It will continue until Sunday, November 2, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. local time. The second part of the Halloween 2025 event in Pokémon GO features the debut of some costumed Pokémon. These Pokémon are already in the game, but they’ll be wearing a Halloween-themed costume for the first time in Pokémon GO.
Halloween 2025 (Part 2) Pokémon Debuts
The following costumed Pokémon will debut during this event!
- Teddiursa wearing a witch hat
- Ursaring wearing a witch hat
- Ursaluna wearing a witch hat
- Noibat wearing a headband
- Noivern wearing a headband
Event Bonuses
- On October 31, the featured costumed Pokémon will have a small chance to give Rare Candy or Rare Candy XL when caught with Nice Throws or better.
- Increased chance to encounter Shiny costumed Pokémon in raids.
In addition, Trainers can reach major milestones on their GO Pass: Halloween 2025 to unlock the following bonuses.
- Tier 1:
- Trainers with GO Pass will earn 2× Catch Candy per Pokémon caught after reaching Tier 1 and during the event
- Trainers with GO Pass Deluxe will earn 3× Catch Candy per Pokémon caught after reaching Tier 1 and during the event
- Tier 2
- Increased chance for Trainers level 31 and up to receive Candy XL for catching Pokémon with Nice, Great, and Excellent Throws
- Tier 3
- 2× Candy for transferring Pokémon
- Increased chance for Trainers level 31 and up to receive Candy XL for transferring Pokémon
- GO Pass Deluxe: 3× Candy for transferring Pokémon
- GO Pass Deluxe: Even greater chance for Trainers level 31 and up to receive Candy XL for transferring Pokémon
Event-themed Wild Encounters and Raid Encounter
During the event, Teddiursa wearing a witch hat, Noibat wearing a headband, and more will be appearing frequently in the wild. The following Pokémon will be appearing in their respective Raid tiers
- One-Star Raids: Pikachu wearing a Halloween Mischief costume, Piplup wearing a Halloween Mischief costume, Sinistea, and Poltchageist
- One-Star Shadow Raids: Shadow Yamask and Shadow Phantump
- Three-Star Raids: Gengar wearing a Tricks & Treats costume and Drifblim wearing a Halloween Mischief costume*
Field Research Task Encounters
Event-themed Field Research tasks will be available! Trainers can encounter the following Pokémon when certain Field Research tasks are completed.
- Pikachu wearing a Halloween Mischief costume
- Teddiursa wearing a witch hat
- Froakie wearing a Pokémon Halloween costume
- Noibat wearing a headband
- Rowlet wearing a Pokémon Halloween costume
- Spiritomb
Other Field Research tasks will award the Mega Energy for the following Pokémon.
