Mega Audino is the 45th Mega Pokémon to be released in four-star Mega Raids in Pokémon GO. The Mega Audino will make its debut in Mega Raid Day in Pokémon GO on Saturday, April 5, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time.

Defeating Mega Audino
Mega Audino is a Normal- and Fairy-type Pokémon in Pokémon GO. It is 1.6x weak to Poison and Steel-type moves/attacks. There are a lot of Pokémon in Pokémon GO with either the Poison-type move or the Steel-type move. However, I’ll let you in on the top counters with either of these moves. If you don’t have the top counters, there are very good substitutes as well.
Recommended Mega Audino Counters
These are the 6-Pokémon team you should add to your battle party before you start participating in the mega raids
- Dusk Mane Necrozma with Steel-type Fast Move i.e. Metal Claw and Steel-type Charged Move i.e. Sunsteel Strike.
- Shadow Metagross with Steel-type Fast Move i.e. Bullet Punch and Steel-type Charged Move i.e. Meteor Mash.
- Mega Beedrill with Poison-type Fast Move i.e. Poison Jab and Poison-type Charged Move i.e. Sludge Bomb.
- Dialga (Origin) with Steel-type Fast Move i.e. Metal Claw and Steel-type Charged Move i.e. Iron Head.
- Nihilego with Poison-type Fast Move i.e. Poison Jab and Poison-type Charged Move i.e. Sludge Bomb.
- Shadow Excadrill with Steel-type Fast Move i.e. Steel Wing and Ice-type Charged Move i.e. Ice Burn.
The recommended counters are what you should plan to use. However, if you do not have any of these, you can substitute any with another Pokémon that has the move-type. As an example, you can substitute Dusk Mane Necrozma with another Metagross that has Steel-type moves. Likewise, you can replace the Shadow version with their regular version if you do not have the Shadows.
In addition to the above, you will want to do and know the following.
- You need a minimum of two (2) Trainers. This is if the duo have the recommended counters at their highest CPs. If not, three (3) Trainers is the minimum.
- Level up your Counter Pokémon (i.e. its CP) to at least their level 35.
- Audino will be available as encounters after completing the raids.
- You will receive Audino Mega Energy after completing the raids. This is what you need to mega-evolve your Audino.
- You need 200 Mega Energy to have your first Audino mega evolution.
- The CP for a hundo/perfect Audino is either 1201 CP (during partly Cloudy weather in-game) or 961 CP (during other weather conditions in-game).
