Pokémon GO’s Inbound from Ultra Space event Tricks

These tricks are what you should do to make the best out of the event.

GO Battle League

If you are planning on getting good Pokémon for the GO Battle League, you should focus on getting a good Guzzlord, Nihilego, and Buzzwole for both Great League and Ultra League. The encounters from the event-themed Research will get you Great League Possible Buzzwole. You can mirror trade the others for the possibility of getting a lower CP than 1500 for the Great League.

Raid Attacker

If you are planning on getting good Pokémon for Raid Battle or other PVE, you should focus on raiding as many Kartana and Xurkitree as possible. You will need Candy and Candy XL to max out the best one you get. Kartana and Xurkitree are currently the #1 Grass-type and Electric-type Attackers respectively in Pokémon GO. Likewise, Blacephalon is a very good Ghost-type Attacker. You can focus on getting that too. However, there are better Ghost-type Attackers e.g. Mega Genger. Same for Pheromosa which is also a decent Bug-type Attacker.

Stardust gain

If you want more Stardust, don’t forget to use Star Piece when raiding especially during the daily raid hours.

XP gain

If you are looking to get more XP, don’t forget to use Lucky Egg when raiding especially during the daily raid hours.

Candy gain

If you are looking for more candy for the event Pokémon (or the Pokémon you have in your Research tasks), make sure you use Pinap Berry when catching them. You can also mega-evolve any of your max-level mega Pokémon that shares similar type to the Pokémon you want more candy for.

You can mega-evolve the following during the daily Raid Hours this week. For optimal use, you can mega-evolve at 3 different Pokémon per day. Each lasts 8 hours. Doing this will cover the 24-hour period of the day

  • For Guzzlord: Monday, July 8 – Mega Rayquaza, Mega Salamence, and Mega Garchomp.
  • For Nihilego: Tuesday, July 9 – Mega, Tyranitar, Mega Aerodactly, and Mega Venusaur.
  • For Celesteela and Kartana: Wednesday, July 10 – Mega Scizor, Mega Steelix, and Mega Aggron.
  • For Stakataka: Thursday, July 11 – Mega Tyranitar, Mega Steelix, Mega Aerodactyl.
  • For Blacephalon: Thursday, July 11 – Mega Charizard, Mega Houndoom, Mega Blaziken.
  • For Buzzwole and Pheromosa: July 12 – Mega Scizor, Mega Heracross, and Mega Beedrill
  • For Xurkitree: Friday, July 12 – Mega Manectric, Primal Groudon, and Mega Ampharos.

Finally, make sure you catch ’em all. This is the basic requirement to get anything good from this event. If you want something great, then you’ve got to put in extra effort on the tips and tricks you just read.

Most importantly, have fun!
