Indeedee debuts during Psychic Spectacular Taken Over event

The Emotion Pokémon Indeedee debuts in Pokémon GO during the Psychic Spectacular Taken Over event. Likewise, its Shiny form will also be making its debut in Pokémon GO. Trainers will be able to hatch Shiny Indeedee, if they’re lucky.

Indeedee is a Psychic- and Normal-type Pokémon. Its PokeDex number is 876. Which means it belongs to the Galar region. Indeedee is a part of the Generation VIII Pokémon.

More facts about Indeedee

  • Its maximum Combat Power (CP) is 2762. 2762 CP is the CP for a perfect (100% IV) Indeedee.
  • To max an Indeedee, you will need 520,000 Stardust, 304 Indeedee Candy, and 296 Indeedee Candy XL.
  • As a Psychic- and Normal-type Pokémon, its wild encounters are boosted during either Windy or Partly Cloudy Conditions.
  • Its Attack stat is 208; its Defense stat is 166; and its HP stat is 155. This makes it a good Psychic- and Normal-type attacker in battles.
  • It is weak to Pokémon with either a Bug-type or a Dark-type attack.
  • It currently neither has an evolved form nor a pre-evolution.

Psychic Spectacular: Taken Over

The Team GO Rocket Taken Over event starts on Tuesday, September 16, at 10:00 a.m. local time. It will continue until Sunday, September 21, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. local time. The event will be focused on Team GO Rocket members (Giovanni, Sierra, Arlo, Cliff, and the Grunts). In addition, the event will be focused on Psychic-type Pokémon in either their regular or shadow form.

Event-themed Pokémon such as Abra, Lunatone, Solrock, and more will appear in the wild. You might even encounter Beldum. Furthermore, event-themed Pokémon such as Smoochum, Chingling, Espurr, and Indeedee will hatch from 5 km Eggs. These Eggs must be received from PokéStops or Gyms after the start and before the end of the Taken Over event. Likewise, Alolan Raichu, Hisuian Braviary, and Wyrdeer will be available in Three-Star Raids.

Event Bonuses

Trainers participating in the event will have access to the following event-themed bonuses.

  • Additional Candy for Nice Throws or better.
  • 1/2 Egg Hatch Distance when Eggs are placed in an Incubator during the event period.
  • Increased chance for Candy XL for Nice Throws or better for Trainers level 31 and up.
  • Lunatone and Solrock will both appear in the wild during the event, regardless of your location.
  • Team GO Rocket will appear more frequently at PokéStops and in balloons.
  • You can use a Charged TM to help a Shadow Pokémon forget the Charged Attack Frustration.
  • Pokémon caught via one-star and three-star Shadow Raids during the event will have a wider variance of Attack, Defense, and HP.

Save Shadow Incarnate Forme Tornadus!

For the Team GO Rocket Taken Over part of the Psychic Spectacular event, Special Research will be unlocked at the beginning of the event. Trainers can progress through it to receive a Super Rocket Radar. The Super Rocket Radar is needed to find, battle, and defeat Giovanni! Upon defeating Giovanni, Trainers will encounter Shadow Incarnate Forme Tornadus.

Trainers can claim this Special Research until December 2, 2025, at 9:59 a.m. local time.

Shadow Pokémon

Team GO Rocke leaders, Sierra, Cliff, and Arlo, will be using different Shadow Pokémon. Some Team GO Rocket Grunts will also be using different Shadow Pokémon. You can defeat the following Grunts to save the following Shadow Pokémon.

  • Water- or Poison-type Grunt: Shadow Qwilfish
  • Normal- or Flying-type Grunt: Shadow Swablu
  • Ground- or Psychic-type Grunt: Shadow Baltoy
  • Dragon- or Dark-type Grunt: Shadow Deino

To spice up the celebration event in Pokémon GO, there will be different research tasks and rewards as follows.
