Journey to Paldea event in Pokémon GO
The Journey to Paldea event is the first event of the new Season of Pokémon GO titled Precious Paths. At the start of the Paldean adventure event, Nacli and its evolutions, Naclstack, and Garganacl, will make their debuts in Pokémon GO.
Nacli, a Paldean Pokémon, is a Rock-type Pokémon in Pokémon GO. Its maximum Combat Power is 1093 CP, and its best Pokémon GO moves are Rock Throw and Rock Blast. Nacli’s wild encounters and moves are boosted during Partly Cloudy weather.
Nacli encountered as a Raid reward can be encountered from 508 CP to 552 CP, if weather boosted, in from 635 CP to 690 CP. In Field and Special Research, Nacli encountered after completing the research can be found in the 381 CP to 414 CP range. If the Nacli you encountered is with 552 CP (or 635 CP) from raids or 414 CP from research, that is a perfect (or hundo) Nacli.
You can use 25 Nacli Candy to evolve Nacli into Naclstack and 100 Nacli Candy to evolve Naclstack into Garganacl.
Journey to Paldea Event Bonuses
Trainers participating in the event will have access to the following bonuses from the start till the end of the event.
- 2× XP for winning Raid Battles.
- 2× XP for evolving Pokémon.
- Increased chance to encounter Shiny Larvitar and Shiny Bagon.
Wild Encounters
Throughout the event, Trainers may encounter Nymble, Pawmi, and Smoliv in the wild. If you’re lucky, you might encounter Nacli. Furthermore, different Pokémon will be featured all day on alternating days of the event. This is as follows.
- December 2: Larvitar, Drifloon, Skrelp, and more
- December 3: Misdreavus, Bagon, Clauncher, and more
- December 4: Larvitar, Drifloon, Skrelp, and more
- December 5: Misdreavus, Bagon, Clauncher, and more
- December 6: Larvitar, Drifloon, Skrelp, and more
- December 7: Misdreavus, Bagon, Clauncher, and more
- December 8: Larvitar, Drifloon, Skrelp, and more
- December 9: Misdreavus, Bagon, Clauncher, and more
Please note that featured Pokémon from the December Community Day 2025 event will appear on their respective days (i.e. December 6 and 7) from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. In addtion, the featured Pokémon on December 2 and 9 will start appearing at 10:00 a.m. local time and end at 8:00 p.m. local time, respectively.

- Field Research Tasks: Complete these tasks to earn encounters with event-themed Pokémon!
- Collection Challenges: Complete the catch-themed Collection Challenges to receive XP, Stardust, and encounters with event-themed Pokémon.
- Paid Timed Research: For US$1.99 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency), you’ll be able to access event-exclusive Timed Research. Timed Research rewards include 3,000 Stardust, two Premium Battle Passes, encounters with event-themed Pokémon, including Larvitar, Bagon, and Nacli.
