June 2023 in Pokémon GO

Another month is here! The good thing about this month is that it is the beginning of another season of Pokémon GO. A season that has been tagged as the Season of Hidden Gems. As a usual custom on this blog, I provide a list of all the upcoming events during a new month in Pokémon GO.

Pokémon GO June 2023 Events

  • Searching for Gold Research Day: Saturday, June 3, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time.
    • Event-themed Field Research tasks will be available when you spin Photo Discs at PokéStops.
  • Water Festival: Beach Week: Tuesday, June 6, at 10:00 a.m. to Monday, June 12, at 8:00 p.m. local time.
    • Sandygast, the Sand Heap Pokémon, and Palossand, the Sand Castle Pokémon, will make their Pokémon GO debuts! Also, for the first time in Pokémon GO, you’ll be able to encounter Shiny Clauncher—if you’re lucky!
  • Community Day: Axew: Saturday, June 10, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time.
    • Evolve Fraxure (Axew’s Evolution) during the event or up to five hours afterward to get a Haxorus that knows the Charged Attack Breaking Swipe.
  • Special Raid event: Sunday, June 11, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time.
    • Uxie, Mesprit, and, Azelf appear more in five-star raids. This is a make-up event for the technical issues experienced by remote raid participants between June 1 and June 5, 2023.
  • Solstice Horizons + Team GO Rockets Takeover: Friday, June 16, at 10:00 a.m. to Sunday, June 25, at 8:00 p.m. local time.
  • Dark Flames: Thursday, June 29, at 10:00 a.m. to Sunday, July 2, at 8:00 p.m. local time.

Pokémon GO June 2023 Raids

  • Five-Star Raids (starts 10 a.m. and ends 10: a.m. local time.)
    • Uxie (in Asia-Pacific), Mesprit (in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and India), and Azelf (in the Americas and Greenland): June 1 – June 15.
    • Nihilego: June 15 – June 29. (Shiny Nihilego debuts in Pokémon GO).
    • Heatran: June 29 – July 6.
  • Mega Raids (starts 10 a.m. and ends 10 a.m. local time.)
    • Mega Swampert: June 1 – June 15.
    • Mega Sceptile: June 15 – June 29.
    • Mega Sableye: June 29 – July 6.
  • Shadow Raids
    • One-Star and Three-Star raids: June 5, at 10 a.m. local time.
    • Shadow Articuno (can be shiny): June 10, from 10 a.m. local time till June 11, 8 p.m. local time.

  • Sableye

Pokémon GO June 2023 Spotlight Hours

  • Krabby, Kabuto, Corpish, Clauncher, and Crabrawler: Tuesday, June 6, 6:00 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time. 3x catch XP.
  • Binacle: Tuesday, June 13, 6:00 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time. 2x catch candy.
  • Sunkern: Tuesday, June 20, 6:00 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time. 2x transfer candy.
  • Doduo: Tuesday, June 27, 6:00 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time. 2x evolve XP.

Pokémon GO June 2023 GO Battle League

  • Great League: June 1 – June 15.
  • Summer Cup: Great League Edition: June 1 – June 8.
  • Summer Cup: Ultra League Edition: June 8 – June 15.
  • Ultra League: June 15 – June 29.
  • Element Cup: Little Edition: June 15 – June 22.
  • Single-type Cup: Great League Edition: June 22 – July 6.
  • Master League Premier: June 29 – July 6

These are all the major updates that we will witness in the month of June 2023 in Pokémon GO. I am not hyped about this month but I’ll be participating in the events as much as I can.
