The Mega Kangaskhan Raid Day in Pokémon GO is on Saturday, May 3, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. This event features the return of Mega Kangaskhan in Mega Raids. Trainers who participate in the Mega Raids may encounter Shiny Kangaskhan if lucky.
Mega Kangaskhan Raid Day Event Bonuses
The following bonuses will be active during the event.
- The limit for using a Remote Raid Pass to join a raid will be increased to 20. This will start before the event, i.e. Friday, May 2, at 5:00 p.m. and it will end on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. PDT.
- Trainers can receive five (5) additional free Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs (for a total of six).
- Increased chance of encountering Shiny Kangaskhan from Mega Raids.
In addition, Kangaskhan encountered in raids will know the Charged Attack Stomp. Stomp is a Normal-type attack that deals 55 damage in Trainer Battles (PVP) and 50 damage in Gyms and Raids (PVE).
Mega Kangaskhan Raid Day Event Ticket
A paid ticket will be available for US $4.99 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency). Buying this ticket grants Trainers access to the following additional bonuses.
- Eight (8) additional Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs (for a daily total of 14)
- Increased chance to get Rare Candy XL from Raid Battles
- 50% more XP from Raid Battles
- 2× Stardust from Raid Battles

Mega Kangaskhan Raid Day Event Timed Research
A free Timed Research will be available during the event. Completing the Timed Research will award Trainers with the following.
- 10,000 Stardust
- 1,000 additional Stardust for completing a Raid Battle for a total of 2,000 Stardust (3,000 Stardust with the event ticket)

The free timed research will expire on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. local time.
