The Patterns of the Wild event is a special event taking place in Indonesia that introduces a brand-new costumed favorite: Pikachu wearing a batik shirt with a Special Background.
Whether you are planning to participate locally in Indonesia or just want to keep track of all the exciting in-person events, this guide covers everything you need to know about the event schedule, featured Pokémon, bonuses, Timed Research, and more.
Patterns of the Wild Event Schedule and Overview
The Patterns of the Wild event is tailored specifically for trainers in Indonesia, bringing unique regional flair to the game.
Main Event Date & Time: Friday, October 2, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. local time.
During this window, trainers will experience boosted spawns, unique gameplay bonuses, and multiple opportunities to catch Pikachu wearing a batik shirt with a Special Background.
Batik is a traditional Indonesian technique of wax-resist dyeing applied to whole cloth, making this costumed Pikachu a deeply cultural and unique addition to any trainer’s collection.
