The Pikipek Community Day features the Woodpecker Pokémon. Pikipek will be available more frequently in the wild than usual. Trainers will also have a higher chance of encountering Shiny Pikipek and a lower chance of encountering one (in the wild) that has a Special Background. Also, you can evolve (Shiny) Pikipek up to its final evolution to get a (Shiny) Toucannon that knows the Charged Attack Beak Blast.
Pikipek Community Day and the featured attack
The Community Day is on Sunday, November 30, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. However, you can still evolve (Shiny) Trumbeak ((Shiny) Pikipek’s Evolution) between the beginning of the event and November 30, 2025, at 9:00 p.m. local time to get a (Shiny) Toucannon that knows the Charged Attack Beak Blast.
Beak Blast is a Flying-type Charged attack that deals 110 damage to other Pokémon in Trainer Battles and 125 damage to other Pokémon in Gyms and Raids. Furthermore, Beak Blast is super effective against Fighting-type, Bug-type, and Grass-type Pokémon. It is an exclusive and signature move of Toucannon.
Event Bonuses
Trainers participating in the November 2025 Community Day will have access to the following event-themed bonuses
- 3× XP for catching Pokémon.
- 2× Candy for catching Pokémon.
- 2× chance for Trainers level 31 and up to receive Candy XL from catching Pokémon.
- Lure Modules activated during the event will last for one hour and may attract Pikipek.*
- Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense) activated during the event will last for three hours.
- Take a few snapshots during Community Day for a surprise!
- One additional Special Trade can be made for a maximum of three*
- Trades will require 50% less Stardust.*
*These will be active from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. local time.
Also note that the Lure Modules will not last for the usual 3-hour period. However, from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. local time, Pikipek will have a very high chance of appearing at PokéStops with active regular Lure Modules. Pikipek attracted to regular Lure Modules will still have an increased chance to be Shiny and may have a Special Background.
Community Day Special Research
For US$1.99 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency), you’ll be able to access the Pikipek Community Day–exclusive Special Research. Completing this research will reward Trainers with the following:
- 3 encounters with Pikipek that have a Tales of Transformation–themed Special Background
- Additional encounters with Pikipek
- 1 Premium Battle Pass
- 1 Rare Candy XL

Field Research
There will also be a November 2025 Community Day–themed Field Research! The Field Research tasks will have you “Catch Pikipek”. Completing any of the Field Research will reward Trainers with either Stardust, Great Balls, or additional encounters with Pikipek, and more. If you GO out and explore with your community, you may even find Field Research that leads to encounters with Pikipek that have Tales of Transformation–themed Special Backgrounds—if you’re lucky!
Go ahead and plan for the Community Day. Ensure you play with your community of Pokémon Trainers. Find a Community Ambassador-hosted Pikipek Community Day and be there. Checking in to a Community Ambassador event gets you a Timed Research that leads to additional encounters with Pikipek with a Tales of Transformation–themed Special Background, as well as other premium item rewards!
Important information
Please note, November Community Day will be the last Community Day where the featured Pokémon can have a Seasonal Special Background. The Pokémon Company is trying out new things for Community Day and will reevaluate these changes for next Season and onward.
