The Pokémon GO 2025 Week 16 is going to start on Monday, April 14, 2025, at 12:00 a.m. local time and continue until Sunday, April 20, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. local time. There are activities planned for the new week. Here are what you should be prepared for.
Pokémon GO 2025 Week 16 Activities
Main Events
- The Spring into Spring event continues until Monday, April 14, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. local time.
- Tinkatink and its evolutions, Tinkatuff, and Tinkaton will make their debut in Pokémon GO during the Pokémon Horizons: The Series Celebration Event. This is scheduled from Wednesday, April 16, 2025, 10:00 a.m. local time to Tuesday, April 22, 2025, 8:00 p.m. local time.
- The week will end with Gigantamax Snorlax Max Battle Day. This is on Saturday, April 19, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. However, a Timed Research leading up to the Max Battle Day will be available from Monday, April 14, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. local time. Completing the timed research tasks will award an encounter with Machop, items, Max Particles, Machop Candy, and Candy XL.
Raids
- Blacephalon (Western Hemisphere) and Stakataka (Eastern Hemisphere) are still in Five-Star raids until Monday, April 21, 2025, 10:00 a.m. local time.
- Mega Sceptile is still in Mega raids until Monday, April 21, 2025, 10:00 a.m. local time.
- Shadow Registeel is still in Five-star Shadow Raids (during the weekends) until Sunday, May 5, 2025.
- Different Pokémon will be available in One-Star and Three-Star raids, depending on this week’s main events.
Raid Hour
- Blacephalon (Western Hemisphere) and Stakataka (Eastern Hemisphere) will be featured during the raid hour on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time.
Spotlight Hour
- Fomantis will be featured during the Spotlight hour on Tuesday, April 15 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time.
- The bonus for this hour is 2x evolve XP per Pokémon. This is the hour you want to evolve all your new Pokémon. Also, those that require 25 Candy or less to evolve i.e., Pidgey, Caterpie, Pidove, Weedle, Wurmple, Whismur, etc.
Pokémon GO 2025 Week 16 Max Battles
- The following Dynamax Pokémon will be available in Max Battles until Monday, April 14, 2025, at 6:00 a.m. local time.
- Dynamax Caterpie
- Dynamax Machop
- Dynamax Drilbur
- Dynamax Wooloo
- Dynamax Falinks
- The following Dynamax Pokémon will be available in Max Battles from Monday, April 14, 2025, from 6:00 a.m. local time to Monday, April 21, 2025, 6:00 a.m. local time.

- Dynamax Falinks
- Dynamax Wooloo will be featured during the Max Monday hour on Monday, April 14, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time.
Pokémon GO 2025 Week 16 GO Battle League
The following Leagues will be available from 4:00 p.m. EST for each start date.
- Ultra League: until April 15
- Spring Cup: Great League Edition: until April 22
- Master League: April 15 – April 29.
Pokémon GO Season Ticketed Event
- April Power Up Ticket: Friday, April 4, at 10:00 a.m. to Sunday, May 4, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. local time.
- April GO Pass and GO Pass Deluxe: until Tuesday, May 6 at 10:00 a.m. local time.
- GO Fest 2025: Early Bird Timed Research – Skiddo: Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. local time. Trainers who purchase a Pokémon GO Fest 2025: Global ticket by April 15 and play between April 8 and April 15 will receive a Timed Research that awards an encounter with Skiddo.
Pokémon GO Reward Road
- April Reward Road: until April 30, 2025, at 23:59 UTC.
In addition to the above, there will be PokéStop Showcases throughout this week. These Showcases will be between Monday and Tuesday, and then Saturday and Sunday.
