The Pokémon GO 2025 Week 19 is going to start on Monday, May 5, 2025, at 12:00 a.m. local time and continue until Sunday, May 11, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. local time. There are activities planned for the new week. Here are what you should be prepared for.
Pokémon GO 2025 Week 19 Activities
Main Events
- The Growing Up event continues until Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. local time.
- Kingambit will make its debut in Pokémon GO at the start of the Crown Clash event. This will start on Saturday, May 10, at 10:00 a.m. local time. It continues until Sunday, May 18, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. local time.
- Also, Dynamax Suicune will make its debut in Pokémon GO during May 2025’s Max Battle Weekend. The Dynamax Suicune Max Battle Weekend is on Saturday, May 10, at 6:00 a.m. to Sunday, May 11, 2025, at 9:00 p.m. local time.
- In addition, you can unlock and or power up a Max Moves with 3/4 Max Particle cost. This bonus will be active from Monday, May 5, at 6:00 a.m. to Sunday, May 11, 2025, at 9:00 p.m. local time.
- A free Timed Research will be available to Trainers starting Monday, May 5, 2025, at 6:00 a.m. local time. You can complete the Timed Research to encounter a Dynamax Grookey that you can evolve into Dynamax Rillaboom. The Timed Research tasks will also award Grookey Candy, Max Particles, and more to help power up your battle team.
- The week will end with May 2025’s Community Day featuring Pawmi. This will be on Saturday, May 3, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time.
Raids
- Tapu Fini (that knows Nature’s Madness as a Charged Attack) is still available in Five-Star raids until Monday, May 12, 2025, 10:00 a.m. local time.
- Mega Houndoom is still available in Mega raids until Monday, May 12, 2025, 10:00 a.m. local time.
- Shadow Regirock will be available in Five-star Shadow Raids (during the weekends) until Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at 10:00 p.m. local time.
- Different Pokémon will be available in One-Star and Three-Star raids, depending on this week’s main events.
Raid Hour
- Tapu Fini (that knows Nature’s Madness as a Charged Attack): Wednesday, May 7, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time.
Spotlight Hour
- Furfrou will be featured during the Spotlight hour on Tuesday, May 6 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time.
- The bonus for this hour is 2x Catch Candy per Pokémon. This is the hour you want to grind Furfrou Candy for when you need it, either to max your 100% IV Furfrou or changing to other Furfrou forms. You will also want to use a Normal-type Mega Evolved Pokémon to get additional Candy when catching Furfrou. Ideally, mega-evolve either Pidgeot, Audino, or Kangaskhan. Ensure that the one you mega-evolve is at its max mega level i.e. mega level 3.

- Dynamax Grookey will be featured during the Max Monday hour on Monday, May 5, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time.
Pokémon GO 2025 Week 19 GO Battle League
The following Leagues will be available from 4:00 p.m. EST for each start date.
- Great League: until May 6.
- Great League Remix: until May 13.
- Ultra League: May 6 – May 13.
Pokémon GO Season Ticketed Event
- May Power Up Ticket: Sunday, May 4, at 10:00 a.m. to Sunday, June 1, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. local time.
- May GO Pass and GO Pass Deluxe: Tuesday, May 6, at 10:00 a.m. to Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. local time.
Pokémon GO Reward Road
- May Reward Road: Thursday, May 1, 2025, at 00:00 UTC to Saturday, May 31, 2025, at 23:59 UTC.
In addition to the above, there will be PokéStop Showcases throughout this week. These Showcases will be between Monday and Tuesday, and then Saturday and Sunday.
