The Pokémon GO 2025 Week 21 is going to start on Monday, May 19, 2025, at 12:00 a.m. local time and continue until Sunday, May 25, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. local time. There are new activities planned for the new week. Here are what you should be prepared for.
Pokémon GO 2025 Week 21 Activities
Main Events
- Dynamax Urshifu will make its debut in Pokémon GO during the Final Strike: GO Battle Week event. This event starts on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. local time and continues until Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. local time.
- The week ends with two events that are a must to participate in.
- On Saturday, May 24, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time, Machop will be appearing more frequently in the wild during May 2025’s Community Day Classic.
- On Sunday, May 25, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time, Gigantamax Machamp will be appearing more frequently in Power Spots during May 2025’s Max Battle Day.
Raids
- The Lake Trio Legendaries: Uxie, (in Asia-Pacific), Mesprit, (in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and India), and Azelf (in the Americas and Greenland) are still available in Five-Star raids until Sunday, May 25, 2025, 10:00 a.m. local time.
- Tapu Bulu (that knows Nature’s Madness as a Charged Attack) will then be in Five-Star raids from Sunday, May 25, 2025, 10:00 a.m. local time to Tuesday, June 3, 2025, 10:00 a.m. local time.
- Mega Gyarados is still available in Mega raids until Sunday, May 25, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. local time.
- Mega Altaria will then be in Mega raids from Sunday, May 25, 2025, 10:00 a.m. local time to Tuesday, June 3, 2025, 10:00 a.m. local time.
- Shadow Regirock will be available in Five-star Shadow Raids (during the weekends) until Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at 10:00 p.m. local time.
- Different Pokémon will be available in One-Star and Three-Star raids, depending on this week’s main events.
Raid Hour
- The Lake Trio Legendaries: Uxie, (in Asia-Pacific), Mesprit, (in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and India), and Azelf (in the Americas and Greenland): Wednesday, May 21, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time.
Spotlight Hour
- Poochyena will be featured during the Spotlight hour on Tuesday, May 20, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time.
- The bonus for this hour is 2x Evolve XP per Pokémon. This is the hour you want to evolve all the Pokémon that you need to evolve. Don’t forget to pop 2 Lucky eggs that will last you for one hour. Focus on catching (with Niantic recommended Auto-catcher and auto spinner) while evolving and the Pokémon you want to evolve – including the new ones.
- You can use the search string <code>evolvenew</code> to search for and evolve new Pokémon for your PokéDex.
Pokémon GO 2025 Week 21 Max Battles
- The following Dynamax Pokémon will be available in Max Battles until Monday, May 19, 2025, at 6:00 a.m. local time.

- The following Dynamax Pokémon will be available in Max Battles from Monday, May 19, 2025, from 6:00 a.m. local time to Monday, May 26, 2025, 6:00 a.m. local time.

- Dynamax Beldum
- Dynamax Sableye will be featured during the Max Monday hour on Monday, May 19, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time.
Pokémon GO 2025 Week 21 GO Battle League
The following Leagues will be available from 4:00 p.m. EST for each start date.
- Master League: until May 20.
- Retro Cup – Great League Edition: until May 20.
- Great League: May 20 – May 27.
- Catch Cup: Great League Edition: May 20 – May 27.
Pokémon GO Season Ticketed Event
- May Power Up Ticket: until Sunday, June 1, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. local time.
- May GO Pass and GO Pass Deluxe: until Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. local time.
Pokémon GO Reward Road
- May Reward Road: until Saturday, May 31, 2025, at 23:59 UTC.
In addition to the above, there will be PokéStop Showcases throughout this week. These Showcases will be between Monday and Tuesday, and then Saturday and Sunday.
