Main Events
- Regional Tatsugiri will make its debut in Pokémon GO during the Water Festival. This event starts on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, 10:00 a.m. local time and continues until Sunday, July 20, 2025, 8:00 p.m. local time.
- Gigantamax Lapras Max Battle Day features the return of Gigantamax Lapras to Pokémon GO. Trainers can engage in Max Battles to catch Gigantamax Lapras on Saturday, July 19, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time.
- There will be a free Timed Research opportunity available to Trainers starting Monday, July 14, 2025, at 6:00 a.m. local time. Completing this Timed Research leads to an encounter with Dynamax Passimian. The Timed Research tasks will also award Passimian Candy, Max Particles, and more to help power up your battle team.
- The week concludes with July 2025 Community Day featuring Quaxly. This is on Sunday, July 20, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time.
- In addition, there will be an in-game Summer Concert. This event is from Saturday, July 19, to Tuesday, July 22, 2025. It will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. local time each day.

- Mega Charizard X will still be in Mega Raids until Monday, July 14, at 10:00 a.m. local time.
- Mega Blastoise will then be in Mega Raids from Monday, July 14, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. until Tuesday, July 22, at 10:00 a.m. local time.
- Solgaleo will still be in Five-Star Raids until Monday, July 14, at 10:00 a.m. local time.
- Terrakion will then be in Five-Star Raids from Monday, July 14, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. until Tuesday, July 22, at 10:00 a.m. local time.
- Shadow Registeel is still in Five-Star Shadow Raids during the weekends of July 2025.
Raid Hour
- Terrakion: Wednesday, July 16, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time.
Spotlight Hour
- Feebas will be featured during the Spotlight hour on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time.
- The bonus for this hour is 2x Catch Candy per Pokémon. This is the hour you grind candy by catching as many Feebas as possible. You should also use (i) Palkia Spacial Rend for one hour, and (ii) a mega-level 3 Water-type Pokémon (e.g., Mega Gyarados) if you want to get more catches and more catch Candy.
Pokémon GO 2025 Week 29 Max Battles
- Dynamax Wailmer will be featured during the Max Monday hour on Monday, July 14, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time. Please note that you will start seeing Dynamax Wailmer in some Power Spots from 6:00 a.m. local time. However, all Power Spots will host Dynamax Wailmer from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time.
Dynamax Wailmer will also be available in Power Spots till the end of this week – Sunday, July 20, 2025.
Pokémon GO 2025 Week 29 GO Battle League
The following Leagues will be available from 4:00 p.m. EST for each start date.
- Ultra League: until July 15.
- Hisui Cup: Great League Edition: until July 15.
- Master League: July 15 – July 22
- Sunshine Cup: Great League Edition: July 15 – July 22.
Pokémon GO Season Ticketed Event
- July 2025 Eggs-pedition Access: Thursday, July 3, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. to Sunday, August 3, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. local time.
- July 2025 GO Pass and GO Pass Deluxe: Thursday, July 3, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. to Sunday, August 3, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. local time.
