This week features the debut of Honedge and its evolutions, the debut of Shiny Rookidee and its evolutions, the debut of Dynamax Latias and Dynamax Latios, and lots more you would want to participate in.

Main Events
- The in-game Summer Concert continues. It will be on for another two days. The days are as follows.
- Monday, July 21, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. local time.
- Tuesday, July 22, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. local time.
- Honedge and its evolutions will make their debut in Pokémon GO during the Ultra Unlock: Steel and Scales event. This event starts on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. It continues until Sunday, July 27, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. local time.
- This event also features 4x XP and 4x Stardust for catching Pokémon. You don’t want to miss out on these.
- Also, for the first time in Pokémon GO, you’ll be able to encounter Shiny Rookidee (and its shiny evolutions)—if you’re lucky!
- This week concludes with the debut of Dynamax Latias and Dynamax Latios during the Max Battle Weekend. The Max Battle Weekend is on:
- Saturday, July 26, 2025, from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. local time.
- Sunday, July 27, 2025, from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. local time.
- In addition, starting Monday, July 21, 2025, at 6:00 a.m. local time, all Trainers will automatically receive a Timed Research. You can complete the Timed Research to encounter a Dynamax Gastly, Gastly Candy, Max Particles, and more to help power up your battle team.

- Mega Blastoise will still be in Mega Raids until Tuesday, July 22, at 10:00 a.m. local time.
- Mega Venusaur will then be in Mega Raids from Tuesday, July 22, at 10:00 a.m. until Monday, July 28, at 10:00 a.m. local time.
- Terrakion will still be in Five-Star Raids until Tuesday, July 22, at 10:00 a.m. local time.
- Lunala will then be in Five-Star Raids from Tuesday, July 22, at 10:00 a.m. until Monday, July 28, at 10:00 a.m. local time.
- Shadow Registeel is still in Five-Star Shadow Raids during the weekends of July 2025.
Raid Hour
- Lunala: Wednesday, July 23, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time.
Spotlight Hour
- Jigglypuff will be featured during the Spotlight hour on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time.
- The bonus for this hour is 2x Transfer Candy per Pokémon. This is the hour you want to transfer all the trash Pokémon you don’t need. It is also the hour to transfer all the extra legendary Pokémon you do not need so you can get more candy. You should also use (i) Palkia Spacial Rend for one hour, and (ii) a mega-level 3 Normal or Fairy-type Pokémon if you want to get more catches and more catch Candy.
Pokémon GO 2025 Week 30 Max Battles
- Dynamax Darumaka will be featured during the Max Monday hour on Monday, July 21, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time. Please note that you will start seeing Dynamax Darumaka in some Power Spots from 6:00 a.m. local time. However, all Power Spots will host Dynamax Darumaka from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time.
- Dynamax Darumaka will also be available in Power Spots till the end of this week – Sunday, July 27, 2025.
- There will also be different Dynamax Pokémon at different Power Spots during the week.
Pokémon GO 2025 Week 30 GO Battle League
The following Leagues will be available from 4:00 p.m. EST for each start date.
- Sunshine Cup: Great League Edition: until July 22.
- Master League: until July 29
- Great League Edition: July 22 – July 29
- Ultra League: July 22 – July 29
