The Pokémon GO 2025 Week 9 is about to start, at the time of publishing this post. There are activities planned for this week which start on Sunday, February 23rd, and end on Saturday, March 1st.
Pokémon GO Week 9 Activities
The following are what you should look out for during the Pokémon GO 2025 Week 9.
Raids
- Yveltal and Xerneas will be in Five-Star raids until Monday, February 24 at 10:00 a.m. local time.
- Genesect (all drives) will be in Five-Star raids on Monday, February 24 at 10:00 a.m. local time.
- Cobalion, Terrakion, and Virizion will be in Five-Star raids on Tuesday, February 25 at 10:00 a.m. local time.
- Tornadus, Thundurus, and Landorus (all Therian) will be in Five-Star raids on Wednesday, February 26 at 10:00 a.m. local time.
- Reshiram will be in Five-Star raids on Thursday, February 27 at 10:00 a.m. local time.
- Zekrom will be in Five-Star raids on Friday, February 28 at 10:00 a.m. local time.
- Mega Garchomp will be in Mega Raids until Tuesday, March 4 at 10:00 a.m. local time.
- Shadow Regirock will be in Five-Star Shadow Raids on Sunday, February 23 from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. local time AND on Saturday, March 1 from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Raid Hour
- Genesect (all drives) will be in Five-Star raid hour on Monday, February 24 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time.
- Cobalion, Terrakion, and Virizion will be in Five-Star raid hour on Tuesday, February 25 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time.
- Tornadus, Thundurus, and Landorus (all Therian) will be in Five-Star raid hour on Wednesday, February 26 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time.
- Reshiram will be in Five-Star raid hour on Thursday, February 27 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time.
- Zekrom will be in Five-Star raid hour on Friday, February 28 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time.
Max Battles
- Dynamax Pidove, Dynamax Machop, Dynamax Falinks, and Dynamax Grookey are still available in Max Battles until Sunday, February 23 at 9:00 p.m. local time.
- Dynamax Darumaka will be featured during Max Monday battles on Monday, February 24 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time.
- The following Dynamax Pokémon will be available in Max Battles for the rest of the week from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. each day.

- Dynamax Sobble

Main Event
- Road to Unova starts on Monday, February 24, at 10:00 a.m. and ends on Saturday, March 1 at 10:00 a.m. local time. This event features the debut of Tour Pass in Pokémon GO. Trainers will also be able to complete Tour Pass Tasks to earn Tour Points. Likewise, trainers will be able to earn a brand new item called Lucky Trinket.

Research
- The Dual Destiny Special Research continues as the rest of the Special Research (i.e., 9 and 10) opened up on Sunday, February 16 at 10:00 a.m. local time.
- The Season (Dual Destiny) long Field Research tasks are still available. You can check out the tasks and rewards.
GO Battle League
- The Great League, Ultra League, and Master League will be available until Tuesday, February 25 at 4:00 p.m. EST.
- The Great League, and Master League (Mega Edition) will be available starting on Tuesday, February 25 at 4:00 p.m. EST.
Spotlight Hour
- Snivy, Tepig, and Oshawott will be featured during the Spotlight hour on Tuesday, February 25 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time. Catching Pokémon during this hour will grant trainers 2x Candy per catch.
Pokémon GO Tour
- The Unova-Global will be on Saturday, March 1, and Sunday, March 2, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. local time. You can find more information on the official Pokémon GO Tour website.
In addition to the above, there will be PokéStop Showcases throughout this week. There will be one ending on Sunday, February 23 at 8:00 p.m. local time. There will be another starting on Wednesday, February 26 at 10:00 a.m. local time.
