Pokemon GO Eggs Hatch Distances with Incubators

The Pokémon GO Eggs hatch distances vary per the type of Egg. It also varies based on the type of Incubators used to hatch the Eggs. In Pokémon GO, there are six (6) types of Eggs. When hatched, each Egg gives one of the Pokémon in the Egg’s pool.

Pokémon GO Eggs

The six (6) types of Eggs in Pokémon GO and their respective hatch distances are as follows.

1 km Egg
2 km Egg
5 km Egg
7 km Egg
10 km Egg
12 km Egg

The 1 km Egg is only obtainable when you log into the game. You cannot use an Incubator for the 1 km Egg. However, for the other five (5) types of Eggs, you can obtain these eggs through various means as follows.

The 2 km, 5 km, and 10 km Eggs are mostly obtainable by spinning PokéStops or Gyms.
The 7 km Egg is from opening a friend’s gift, and Matteo at the end of your first Route.
The 12 km Egg is from defeating Team GO Rocket Grunt leaders.

Furthermore, you can receive 5 km and 10 km Eggs from the Weekly Distance walked rewards. You will get a 5km Egg if you walked less than 50 km during a week. You will get both Eggs if you walked more than 50 km. These are mostly the Eggs from the weekly Adventure Sync Rewards.

You can only receive any of these Eggs if you have an open Egg slot.

Hatch Distances with Incubators

The table below lists the hatch distances for each Egg depending on the incubator used. Additionally, you will see the hatch distances depending on an event bonus and if you joined a Party during a Community Ambassador-hosted event.
