The Pokémon GO Spring into Spring event starts on Wednesday, April 9, at 10:00 a.m. local time and ends on Monday, April 14, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. local time. This event features the debut of the Flowering Pokémon Gossifleur and its evolution, Eldegosss, different wild encounters on different days, and Pokémon hatching from Eggs.
Please note, you can use 50 Gossifleur Candy to evolve Gossifleur into Eldegoss.
Spring into Spring Event Bonuses
Trainers participating in the event will have access to the following bonuses from the start till the end of the event.
- 2x Lucky Egg duration.
- 2× Candy from hatching Eggs.
- Increased chance to encounter Shiny Remoraid and Shiny Fletchling.
- 1/2 Egg Hatch Distance.
Pokémon GO Spring into Spring Wild Encounters
Different Pokémon will be appearing more frequently in the wild on different days. The days are divided into three themes of Water-type, Fire-type, and Grass-type Pokémon respectively.

All the Pokémon can be shiny except Gossifleur.

Event-themed Research
The following event-themed research will be available during the event.
- Field Research Tasks will be available. Completing the research tasks will award Trainers with Great Balls, Pinap Berries, Stardust, and encounters with the event-themed Pokémon. The reward depends on the completed Field Research Task.
- Paid Timed Research will be available for Trainers to purchase for US$2.00 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency). Completing the paid timed research will award Trainers with the following.
- 5,000 XP
- One (1) Lucky Egg
- Two (2) Super Incubators
- Encounters with Remoraid, Fletchling, and Gossifleur
- Collection Challenges will be available for Trainers to complete. Completing the catch-focused timed research will award Trainers with XP, Stardust, and encounters with event-themed Pokémon.
