As we near the end of the Might and Mastery Season, it is time to participate in the Strength in Numbers Global Challenge. Niantic and the Pokémon Company are calling all Pokémon GO Trainers to join together and complete the Might and Mastery Final by participating in a Global Challenge. We have done many challenges before. We can do this as well.
The Pokémon GO Strength in Numbers Global Challenge
The Pokémon GO Strength in Numbers Global Challenge starts on Tuesday, May 20 at 12:00 a.m. PDT and continues until Thursday, May 22, at 12:00 p.m. PDT.
What’s the Global Challenge?
The challenge is based on Gift-giving. Participating in the global challenge requires that you send Gifts to your friends in Pokémon GO. The more gifts you send the more points you add to the global challenge.
To help Trainers achieve this, there will be a bonus where Trainers can open up to 50 Gifts per day until the Global Challenge ends on Thursday, May 22, at 12:00 p.m. PDT.
Reward for Completing the Global Challenge
All Trainers will unlock the ability to gift free Special Research tickets for May 2025 Community Day Classic: Machop. The giftable tickets will be available in the Pokémon GO in-game shop from May 23 at 10:00 a.m. (or earlier!) until May 24 at 5:00 p.m. local time.
Trainers will be able to gift these Special Research tickets to any of their Pokémon GO friends that they have achieved a Friendship level of Great Friends or higher with. Please note Trainers can gift up to 20 tickets per day. Likewise, gifting cannot be completed if the recipient has purchased the event ticket or has been gifted one already.
In conclusion, do not buy the Machop’s Community Day Classic ticket until the global challenge is completed. Someone in your friend list may gift you one for free.
Let’s go!
