The Pokémon GO Stunning Styles event starts on Thursday, April 3, at 10:00 a.m. local time and ends on Monday, April 7, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. local time. This event features the debut of Paldean Tauros, the continuation of Might and Mastery Special Research story, and the re-introduction of the Mythical Pokémon Marshadow.
Paldean Tauros will be available in Raids while the Mythical Pokémon Marshadow will be available in a Special Research Story for those who have never caught the Pokémon.
Might and Mastery Special Research
The next stages of the Seasonal Special Research story will be available to all Trainers beginning at the start of this event. Completing the research tasks will grant Trainers rewards such as Golden Razz Berries, Kubfu Candy, encounters with event-themed Pokémon, and more!
Special Research Story for Marshadow
A special research story titled “A Striking Shadow” will be available to all Trainers for free starting April 3, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. local time! Completing this Special Research will reward Trainers with an encounter with the Mythical Pokémon Marshadow. This Special Research will not expire, so you’ll be able to complete it at your own pace! Trainers who already accessed the Pokémon GO Fest 2024 – exclusive Special Research will NOT encounter another Marshadow. They will get Marshadow Candy instead.
Pokémon GO Stunning Styles Wild Encounters
The following Pokémon will appear more frequently in the wild during the Pokémon GO Stunning Styles event.
- Castform (All forms and in their respective weather conditions).
- Burmy (All forms).
All the Pokémon in the wild can be shiny.
Raids
The following Pokémon will be available in their respective Raid Tiers during the Pokémon GO Stunning Styles event.
- One-star Raids
- West Sea Shellos (in the Western Hemisphere).
- East Sea Shellos (in the Eastern Hemisphere).
- Espurr.
- Rockruff (chance to encounter Rockruff that can evolve into Dusk Form Lycanroc).
- Three-star Raids
- Combat Breed Paldean Tauros (in the Iberian Peninsula).
- Blaze Breed Paldean Tauros (in the Eastern Hemisphere).
- Aqua Breed Paldean Tauros (in the Western Hemisphere).
- Decidueye.
- Hisuian Decidueye
All the Pokémon in their respective raid tiers can be shiny except the Paldean Tauros.

Pokémon GO Stunning Styles event-themed Research
The following event-themed research will be available during the Pokémon GO Stunning Styles event.
- Field Research Tasks will be available. Completing the research tasks will award Trainers encounters with the event-themed Pokémon and more
- Free Timed Research will be available for Trainers to complete. Completing the free timed research will award Trainers with the following.
- Ten (10) Kubfu Candy
- Encounters with event-themed Pokémon, including Clamperl, Espurr, and Morpeko
- One (1) additional Candy for successfully catching Pokémon after completing the Timed Research
- Increased chance for Trainers level 31 and up to receive Candy XL for successfully catching Pokémon after completing the Timed Research

- Paid Timed Research will be available for Trainers to purchase. For US$2.00 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency), Trainers can play through a separate Special Research. Completing the free timed research will award Trainers with the following.
- Four (4) Premium Battle Passes
