Pokémon GO Trade Days is a new thing in Pokémon GO. It is one of the new features that are debuting during the Tales of Transformation Season. An example of another new feature is the Pokémon GO Timed Incubator. But what are Trade Days?
What are Pokémon GO Trade Days?
These are the days of the week when Trainers get different bonuses when they trade Pokémon to another Trainer in Pokémon GO. Specifically, Trade Days are every Sunday between Sunday, September 7, 2025, and Sunday, November 30, 2025.
Consequently, the Trade Days are as follows
- Sunday, September 7, 2025
- Sunday, September 14, 2025
- Sunday, September 21, 2025
- Sunday, September 28, 2025
- Sunday, October 5, 2025
- Sunday, October 12, 2025
- Sunday, October 19, 2025
- Sunday, October 26, 2025
- Sunday, November 2, 2025
- Sunday, November 9, 2025
- Sunday, November 16, 2025
- Sunday, November 23, 2025
- Sunday, November 30, 2025
That’s a total of 13 Trade Days.
UPDATE: You can now trade fainted Pokémon. This means you do not need to revive a Pokémon to be able to trade it. Also, the trade screen now shows if the Pokémon in trade has a background or not. Likewise, you can see which ball was used to catch the Pokémon to be traded to you. Furthermore, you can now see the moves the Pokémon in trade have.
Trade Days Bonuses
On these days, Trainers will get one additional Special Trade opportunity. This will stack on the other Special Trade bonus that may be available during the Trade Days. The other bonuses are as follows.
- One additional Special Trade (a total of two for each Trade Day)
- Increased chance of the Pokémon in trade becoming lucky
- -10% Stardust cost for trades
- Two Candy XL per trade
Other important things you need for the Trade Days
These days are the days you want to trade all the Pokémon you want Candy XL for. However, you need a Trade partner. Make sure you get yourself someone you can do maximum trade with. The maximum trade you can do per day is 100.
Furthermore, 100 trades will cost you some Stardust. It will take you about 3 hours to complete 100 trades in Pokémon GO. So, you need a Trade partner that has at most 100 Pokémon to trade with you. You also need the trade partner to have sufficient Stardust and time.
All my best wishes for your Trades! Go get those Lucky Hundo Pokémon!
