Pokémon GO is updating the rate of Pokémon encounters for all trainers across the world. Prepare for more Pokémon ahead of Pokémon GO Tour: Unova!
The update will be released just in time for the Pokémon GO Tour: Unova. It is expected to help trainers find more Pokémon to catch in Pokémon GO wherever they are across the world.
The Pokémon encounters update will be released as part of the Pokémon GO app update before the Global tour starts. The expected release date is Monday, February 24, at 10:00 a.m. at 10:00 a.m. local time.
According to The Pokémon Company and Niantic, “with this update, Pokémon will appear in even more places than before. In densely populated, rural, suburban, or rapidly expanding areas, this may increase the number of both Pokémon encounters and areas where Pokémon appear overall.”
I hope this will be a useful update for all trainers.
