Pokémon GO Wild Area – Global (Day 2)

The Pokémon GO Wild Area – Global (Day 2) is on Sunday, November 16, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. local time. This will be the final day of the second-ever Pokémon GO Wild Area. This year, the focus is on a tale of light and shadow. The event features mischievous Dark-type and enchanting Fairy-type Pokémon.

Activities for this major event are planned over two days. Here, you will find all the details that are particularly focused on the second day of the event. You can check the links below for the first day of the event and the general information.

Pokémon GO Wild Area – Global (Day 1) Details

The following are what will be available during the first day of the Global event.

  • Bonuses and Features
    • No limit on the number of Remote Raids
    • Shadow Pokémon can forget the Charged Attack Frustration by using a Charged TM
    • Three Free Raid Passes by spinning Photo Discs at Gyms
    • Max Particle collection limit increased to 1,600
    • Three GO Snapshots surprise encounters

  • Mighty Pokémon: Alolan Ninetales, Galarian Weezing, Granbull, Houndoom, Gardevoir, Honchkrow, Garchomp, Drapion, and Weavile may appear in the wild! These Pokémon can be caught with the  event-exclusive GO Safari Ball

  • Six-Star Max Battles: Gigantamax Grimmsnarl

  • Wild encounters: Impidimp, and Hatenna all event hours.
  • Rotating Wild encounters (every hour):
    • Lurking Dark Hour: Alolan Meowth, Alolan Grimer, Gastly, Hoothoot, Murkrow, Sneasel, Houndour, Poochyena, Galarian Zigzagoon, Seedot, Nincanda, Cacnea, Kricketot, Stunky, Skorupi, Scraggy, Zorua, Foongus, Deino, Inkay, Phantump, Dreepy, and Impidimp.
    • Fanciful Fairy Hour: Clefairy, Alolan Vulpix, Jigglypuff, Galarian Ponyta, Chansey, Togetic, Marill, Snubbull, Ralts, Skitty, Swablu, Feebas, Cherubi, Audino, Cottonee, Espurr, Dedenne, Klefki, Popplio, Cutiefly, Hatenna, Smoliv, and Impidimp.

  • Mighty Pokémon as Incense encounters (excluding Daily Adventure Incense): Alolan Ninetales, Galarian Rapidash, Tyranitar, Mawile, Absol, Garchomp, Drapion, Weavile, Hatterene, and Meowscarda

  • Egg Pool: Impidimp, Mime Jr., Sandile, Pawniard, Carbink, and Tinkatink in 5 km Eggs

  • Three-Star Raids: Bewear wearing a wilderness cape
  • Five-Star Shadow Raids: Shadow Dakrai

  • New Special Background: Pokémon caught after completing Raids and Max Battles may have the new background

  • Field Research: rewards encounter event-themed Pokémon.

  • Routes: rewards encounter Pokémon more frequently and earn additional Buddy Candy

Please note that all the encounters may be a Shiny one if you are lucky. Impidimp, Morgrem, and Grimmsnarl are making their Pokémon GO debuts. Likewise, Shadow Darkrai in Shadow Raids. In addition, Shiny Unown W, Shiny Hatenna, and Shiny Impidimp will be making their global Shiny debuts.

The following Pokémon encountered or evolved during the event will know a featured attack!

  • Galarian Rapidash: Wild Charge
  • Gardevoir: Synchronoise
  • Absol: Brutal Swing
  • Garchomp: Earth Power
  • Bewear wearing a wilderness cape: Drain Punch
  • Obstagoon: Obstruct
  • Meowscarada: Frenzy Plant

Ticket Holder Exclusive

Trainers who purchase the global event ticket will have an increased chance of encountering Shiny Pokémon during the event!

Additionally, ticket holding Trainers will enjoy the following.

  • Incense encounters (excluding Daily Adventure Incense): Unown W, Unown I, Unown L, and Unown D. The incense encounters may include the Mighty Pokémon Alolan Ninetales, Galarian Rapidash, Tyranitar, Mawile, Absol, Garchomp, Drapion, Weavile, Hatterene, and Meowscarda. Some Trainers may encounter Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf as mighty Pokémon.

  • Event-exclusive Special Research story with branching research: rewards an encounter with Gigantamax Grimmsnarl

  • Increased chance of 5 km Eggs from spinning PokéStops and Photo Discs at Gyms.
  • Six Free Raid Passes by spinning Photo Discs at Gyms
  • Max Particle collection limit increased to 3,200
  • Increased Max Particles from Power Spots and exploration
  • 3/4 Max Particle cost for unlocking and powering up Max Moves.
  • 2× Candy for catching Pokémon
  • 1/2 Hatch Distance for Eggs placed in Incubators during the event.
  • Six GO Snapshots surprise encounters
  • Lure Modules activated will last for two hours.
  • Six Special Trades.
  • 1/2 Stardust cost for trades
