Pokémon GO Winter Holiday (Part 1)
Celebrate the Pokémon GO Winter Holiday in style with the debut of some Pokémon wearing new costumes. Sudowoodo, Charjabug, and Vikavolt wearing holiday attire will be available at the start of the event. They may be Shiny, if you’re lucky. The event starts on Thursday, December 18, at 10:00 a.m. local time. Trainers can participate in the event until Wednesday, December 24, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. local time.

Pokémon GO Winter Holiday Event Bonuses
Trainers participating in the event will benefit from these bonuses from the start of the event.
- Increased chance to hatch Shiny Pichu wearing a festive hat and Shiny Cubchoo wearing a holiday ribbon from 7 km Eggs.
In addition, if a Trainer reaches the following Major Milestones on their GO Pass: Winter Holiday 2025, they will unlock the following bonuses based on tiers reached.
- Tier 1:
- 2× XP from sending Gifts
- GO Pass Deluxe: 2× Stardust from opening Gifts
- Tier 2
- Additional items may be rewarded from opening Gifts
- GO Pass Deluxe: 1/2 Egg Hatch Distance when Eggs are placed in an Incubator during the event period
- Tier 3
- 50% more XP for winning Raid Battles
- GO Pass Deluxe: 2× XP from catching Pokémon

Wild Encounters
Event-themed Pokémon will be appearing in the wild. These includes Sudowoodo wearing holiday attire, Charjabug wearing holiday attire, Swinub, Snorunt, Spheal, and more.
Eggs
Pichu wearing a festive hat, Smoochum, Cubchoo wearing a holiday ribbon, Cryogonal, and Snom will hatch from 7 km Eggs.
Raids
Sudowoodo wearing holiday attire, Hisuian Avalugg, and Charjabug wearing holiday attire will appear in three-star raids.
Field Research Tasks
Event-themed Field Research tasks will be available. You can complete these tasks to earn Stardust and encounters with event-themed Pokémon.
