Pokémon GO Winter Holiday Part 2

Celebrate the Pokémon GO Winter Holiday Part 2 in style with the debut of some Pokémon, plus a special Winter Weekend event. Rolycoly and its Evolutions, Carkol and Coalossal will be available in Pokémon GO at the start of the event.

The event starts on Wednesday, December 24, at 10:00 a.m. local time. Trainers can participate in the event until Monday, December 29, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. local time. Pokémon Debuts during the Pokémon GO Winter Holiday Part 2

Rolycoly is a Rock-type Pokémon. However, its Evolutions, Carkol and Coalossal are both Rock- and Fire-type Pokémon. Rolycoly’s maximum CP (i.e., a level 50 with 100% IV) is 691 CP. Carkol and Coalossal on the other hand, have a maximum CP of 1710 CP and 2659 CP respectively.

You will need to use 25 Rolycoly Candy to evolve Rolycoly into Carkol and then 100 Rolycoly Candy to evolve Carkol into Coalossal.

Pokémon GO Winter Holiday (Part 2) Event Bonuses

Trainers participating in the event will benefit from these bonuses from the start of the event.

• Catching event-themed Pokémon in the wild may award items such as Fast TMs, Charged TMs, Silver Pinap Berries, Golden Razz Berries, and Rare Candy.
• Increased chance to encounter Shiny Stantler wearing a holiday outfit and Shiny Dedenne wearing holiday attire.

In addition, if a Trainer reaches the following Major Milestones on their GO Pass: Winter Holiday 2025, they will unlock the following bonuses based on tiers reached.

• Tier 1:
  • 2× XP from sending Gifts
  • GO Pass Deluxe: 2× Stardust from opening Gifts
• Tier 2
  • Additional items may be rewarded from opening Gifts
  • GO Pass Deluxe: 1/2 Egg Hatch Distance when Eggs are placed in an Incubator during the event period
• Tier 3
  • 50% more XP for winning Raid Battles
  • GO Pass Deluxe: 2× XP from catching Pokémon

Pokémon GO Winter Holiday Event Spawns, Eggs, Raids, and Field Research

Wild Encounters

Event-themed Pokémon will be appearing in the wild. These includes Galarian Darumaka, Bergmite, Cetoddle,  Dedenne wearing holiday attire, Rolycoly and more.

Eggs

Pichu wearing a festive hat, Smoochum, Cubchoo wearing a holiday ribbon, Cryogonal, and Snom will hatch from 7 km Eggs.

Raids

Alolan Sandshrew, Galarian Darumaka, and Rolycoly will appear in one-star raids. Galarian Mr. Mime, Sudowoodo wearing holiday attire, and Charjabug wearing holiday attire will appear in three-star raids.

Field Research Tasks

Event-themed Field Research tasks will be available. You can complete these tasks to earn Stardust and encounters with event-themed Pokémon.

Winter Weekend in Pokémon GO

In addition to the Holiday event. Winter Weekend will start on Saturday, December 27, at 10:00 a.m. local time. It will continue until Sunday, December 28, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. local time. Trainers participating in the Winter Weekend will enjoy the following bonuses

• No daily limit for how many GO Points you can earn!
• Bonus daily quests for your GO Pass: Winter Holiday 2025.
• Increased chance to encounter Shiny Eevee wearing a holiday hat from Timed Research tasks.
• Free Timed Research that will, upon completion, reward XP, Stardust, and encounters with Eevee wearing a holiday hat.
