Those values did show a part of how well I did in my Pokémon GO Year 2024 journey. The rest of the things that give a full picture of my Year 2024 are revealed in this post.
Pokémon GO Year 2024 Recap
To get the full picture for the recap, we will compare the values of the majority of the activities between year 2023 and year 2024. These are activities that Pokémon GO records via the medal system incorporated into the game.

You have seen the “year 2024 values”. I did accumulate those values in the year 2024. Most of those values are huge. Accomplishing these during my Pokémon GO Year 2024 took me an average of 5 hours per day playing Pokémon GO. However, those are not all the values I accumulated. The following tables present the others.

The top three (3) Pokémon-type caught are as follows.
- Normal-type. If I did my calculations right, Blissey or Porygon were either the Normal-type Pokémon I caught the most. This is because they both had their Community Days in 2024.
- Grass-type. Either Sewaddle, Bounsweet, Rowlet, or Bellsprout are candidates for the most Grass-type Pokémon I caught in 2024. This is because they all had their Community Days in 2024.
- Poison-type. I caught a lot of Poison-type Pokémon in 2024. This was because of the several Poison-type themed events in 2024.

The Experience points and Stardust counts are huge. You can find more details about them via the link I shared earlier in this post. Let’s however look at the other year 2024 values. The 44 newly registered 100% IV Pokémon are not 44 different Pokémon species. They are however different evolutions of the same Pokémon species. You can also use this logic to explain the other “Newly registered” in the table above.
It’s been entertaining to share my Pokémon GO Year 2024 Recap. I hope it’s been entertaining for you to read as well. The conclusion is, I played Pokémon GO a whole lot in 2024. I don’t intend to play this much in 2025 except if there is a release of Level 60 in Pokémon GO. I am currently level 50 and need the level 60 grind to be able to play the game harder in 2025.
