Pokémon GO’s Aquatic Paradise event Tricks

These tricks are what you should do to make the best out of the event.

GO Battle League

If you are planning to get good Pokémon for the GO Battle League, you should focus on catching as many Horsea as possible. The final evolution, Kingdra has some play in the Ultra League. You will want to keep only the ones that have PVP IVs. This also goes for Wingull whose final evolution, Pelipper is one of the top-ranked Pokémon in the Great League. For the Little Cup, Ducklett is one of the top-ranked Pokémon. Lapras, and Jellicent (the final evolution of Frillish) are also useful in the GO Battle League.

Stardust gain

If you want more Stardust, Staryu is the Pokémon you should focus on catching more. Staryu gives 750 Stardust per catch (without using Starpiece). This also goes for Shellder which gives 1000 Stardust per catch (without using Starpiece).

XP gain

If you are looking to get more XP, this event is an opportunity to do so. With the 2x XP event bonus, you can rack up a lot of XPs if you can hit a lot of Excellent Throws.

Candy gain

If you are looking for more candy for the event Pokémon (or the Pokémon you have in your Research tasks, make sure you use Pinap Berry when catching them. You can also mega-evolve any of your max-level mega Pokémon that shares similar type to the Pokémon you want more candy for. Since this is a Water-Pokémon event, you will want to mega-evolve either Blastoise, Gyarados, Swampert, Slowbro, or Kyogre.

Finally, make sure you catch ’em all. This is the basic requirement to get anything good from this event. If you want something great, then you’ve got to put in extra effort on the tips and tricks you just read.

Most importantly, have fun!
