Pokémon GO’s New Level 10 to Level 80 XP Requirements have been revealed. Trainers across the world will be able to experience level increase from Wednesday, October 15, 2025 wherever they are.

Pokémon GO’s New Level 10 to Level 80 XP Requirements
Here are XP requirements for reaching key milestone levels.
- Level 10: 48,000 total XP
- Level 20: 258,000 total XP
- Level 30: 1,083,000 total XP
- Level 40: 3,953,000 total XP
- Level 50: 12,753,000 total XP
- Level 60: 34,353,000 total XP
- Level 70: 85,853,000 total XP
- Level 80: 203,353,000 total XP
If you already have a certain amount of XP for a certain level, you will experience a level increase up to the amount of XP you have. However, reaching level 71 to 80 requires more than XP. Trainers will need to earn a certain amount of XP and complete new Level-Up Research tasks at each level. So, if you have the XP already, you will need to complete level-up research tasks for each level in order to get to the next level.
Please note, tasks for Level-Up Research for levels 41 to 50 will be removed. Level-Up Research tasks will only be associated with levels 71 to 80.
New Level 25 to Level 80 Avatar Rewards
Starting at level 25, Trainers can earn these new avatar rewards at the following levels.
- Level 25: Poké Ball Cap
- Level 30: Poké Ball Shoes
- Level 35: Poké Ball Jacket
- Level 40: Great Ball Cap
- Level 45: Great Ball Shoes
- Level 50: Great Ball Jacket
- Level 55: Ultra Ball Cap
- Level 60: Ultra Ball Shoes
- Level 65: Ultra Ball Jacket
- Level 71: Level 71 Shoes
- Level 73: Level 73 Shades
- Level 75: Level 75 Pants
- Level 77: Level 77 Pose
- Level 79: Level 79 Hairstyle (Short) and Level 79 Hairstyle (Long)
- Level 80: Level 80 Jacket
Pokémon GO’s New Leveling up Rewards
New Storage Increase
Trainers will now be able to earn rewards that increase their storage of Pokémon, Items, Gifts and Postcards. Different amount of storage increase will be available for every different level increase, between level 10 and level 80. Please note that rewarded storage from leveling can enable Trainers to go above existing storage capacity limits.
New Pokémon GO Daily Adventure Egg
Starting at level 15, Trainers can get a free Daily Adventure Egg to hatch a Pokémon and earn 10,000 XP! However, Trainers need to log into the Pokémon GO game daily to be able to get the Daily Adventure Egg.
The Daily Adventure Egg has the following features
- When a Trainer logs in to Pokémon GO for the first time on a new day, the Daily Adventure Egg will automatically be placed into its own Incubator.
- Trainers can only hold and incubate one Daily Adventure Egg at a time.
- The Daily Adventure Egg will hatch after exploring a distance of 1 km.
- The Daily Adventure Egg will not count towards the Trainer’s current Egg storage.
Increased Chance of Lucky Friends at Level 70
Trainers at level 70 and higher will have an increased chance of becoming Lucky Friends with Trainers that they’ve achieved a Friendship level of Best Friends with.
