Remote Trading in Pokémon GO is not currently live. However, we are getting close to having it available in the game. In the meantime, we can get to know a few things about it because of datamines.
Remote Trading in Pokémon GO Works
One of the things we can currently know is how the Remote Trading will work. Remote Trading will work in the following ways.
- Obviously, you need a device to trade with.
- You can only remote trade with a Lucky (Best) Friend in Pokémon GO.
- You will be able to select 3 – 6 Pokémon you wish to trade. Your trade partner will be able to see your selection.
- You will then choose just one Pokémon out of your trade partner’s selections.
- You can then go ahead and complete the trade (as you normally do with regular trading).
Please note, this is the current situation. More details will be revealed soon. Likewise, this information may be different from what Remote Trading will actually be like in Pokémon GO.
