Shadow Cresselia in Pokémon GO
Shadow Cresselia is the featured Shadow Legendary Pokémon in Five-Star Shadow Raids during January 2026. At first, it was initially only obtainable by defeating Giovanni during one of the past Team GO Rocket Takeover events. Then, it returned as one of the featured Pokémon during 2025’s Pokémon GO Wild Area event.
It’s back again! All Trainers can encounter Shadow Cresselia by defeating it in Five-Star Shadow Raids. Likewise, Trainers can encounter Shiny Shadow Cresselia if lucky. The shiny chance is 1 in 20.
Shadow Cresselia Details
Cresselia is a Legendary Psychic-type Pokémon. It is said that those who sleep holding Cresselia’s feather are assured of joyful dreams. Cresselia represents the crescent moon.
Shadow Cresselia is currently the 83rd best Psychic-type attacker. To put this into perspective, Espeon is currently the 27th best Psychic-type attacker. You don’t really need Shadow Cresselia as part of your raid battle party. However, Shadow Cresselia, with the right IV, is good in the GO Battle Great and Ultra League.

- 1633 CP in other weather conditions in-game.
Finally, Shadow Cresselia can be defeated with a minimum of 2 Trainers who use Shadow Shard and Party Power during the raids.
