Shadow Latios is the featured Shadow Legendary Pokémon in Five-Star Shadow Raids during November 2025. It was initially only obtainable by defeating Giovanni during one of the past Team GO Rocket Takeover events.
Now, all Trainers can encounter Show Latios by defeating it in Five-Star Shadow Raids. Likewise, for the first time in Pokémon GO, Trainers can encounter Shiny Shado Latios if lucky. The shiny chance is 1 in 20.
Shadow Latios Details
Latios is a Dragon- and Psychic-type Pokémon. It is said that Latios can make others see an image of what it has seen or imagines in its head. Latios is intelligent and understands human speech. It is one of the EON Pokémon, together with Latias.
Latios has a mega evolution. Please note, you cannot mega-evolve a Shadow Latios.

Any Latios caught from Raids with the following CP is a hundo – a perfect 100% Individual Value Shadow Pokémon.
- 2723 CP in Windy weather in-game.
- 2178 in other weather conditions in-game.
Finally, Shadow Latios can be defeated with a minimum of 3 Trainers who use Shadow Shard and Party Power during the raids.
