Showcase Tuesday now happens every Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. local time. On these days, different featured Pokémon will be at different PokéStops. The PokéStops with the Showcase feature will allow different categories. So, you have more opportunities to win a few more PokéStop Showcases.
UPDATE: The number of PokéStop Showcases appearing on the map will be expanded, starting from Tuesday, May 2026. To balance out the map, some existing PokéStops may no longer feature Showcases if new ones open nearby.

PokéStop Showcase Tips
Make sure you enter your largest Pokémon into these Showcases. Remember, you need to enter any of your Pokémon with XXL size.
Here are the most recommended tips for winning PokéStop Showcases.
- Understand how scoring works: Showcases usually score Pokémon based on: Size (height & weight). To win showcases, you want XXL Pokémon. These are the highest height or weight possible for that species.
- Use Search filters to find your best one: you can either type xxl or the Pokémon name/category + xxl to find your best one.
- Trade for XXLs: If you don’t have a great one, you have enough time to trade for XXL Pokémon. You may not be able to use the traded Pokémon on the same day. You can keep it for the next Showcase Tuesday.
- Enter Showcases in Low-Traffic Areas: Rural or suburban PokéStops usually have fewer competitors.
- Check near event end to swap in a better one if needed: Swap strategically before the Showcase ends: You can replace your entry before the showcase closes. Check rankings in the last minutes. If you caught a better one, swap it in.
All the best!
