Silver Bottle Cap, a new item in Pokémon GO, debuts at the start of the Into the Wild event. It will be available as part of the rewards for Trainers who buys the Into the Wild event’s GO Pass Deluxe. The Silver Bottle Cap is an exciting one-time use item.
Trainers who complete the GO Pass Deluxe: Into the Wild will earn the new item. The new item can be used to start Hyper Training with one of your Pokémon. The chosen Pokémon must be a Pokémon the Trainer has become a Good Buddy or higher with.
What is Hyper Training in Pokémon GO?
Hyper Training is an exciting way for Trainers to increase a Pokémon’s Attack, Defense, and HP. However, with the Silver Bottle Cap, Trainers can start Hyper Training to increase one of a Pokémon’s stats! You can choose to increase either a Pokémon’s Attack, Defense or HP.
When selecting a trainee Pokémon, you will be able to choose which stat you would like to train. If you choose, say Attack, you will only get Hyper Training tasks geared towards increasing the choice Pokémon’s Attack.
Hyper Training Tasks
Once you use your Silver Bottle Cap, you’ll have 365 days to complete your Hyper Training. To train the Pokémon, you will complete various tasks themed to the stat you plan to increase.
- Attack: Battle alongside your trainee.
- Defense: Strengthen your bond with your Buddy Pokémon trainee by playing together, exploring, and catching Pokémon.
- HP: Explore alongside your trainee as a buddy. This can include spinning PokéStops, earning Buddy Candy, or other adventures.
Other relevant information
The Silver Bottle Cap earned from GO Pass Deluxe: Into the Wild will expire on Monday, November 24, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. local time, regardless of when you claimed it.
Furthermore, Shadow Pokémon and Pokémon that already have maxed out stats are not eligible for Hyper Training.
