Solosis was the featured Pokémon during the October 2025 Pokémon GO Community Day. This short story summarizes how well I made use of the event-themed bonuses available during the Community Day.
The Solosis Community Day came with two different category of event-themed bonuses. These were the free bonuses and the paid Special Research. We’ll look at one – the free bonuses available to all trainers who participated in the Community Day.
Free Event Bonuses
The focus of this story will be on some of the free bonuses. These are as follows
- 2× XP for catching Pokémon.
- 3× Stardust for catching Pokémon.
- 2× Candy for catching Pokémon.
- 2× chance for Trainers level 31 and up to receive Candy XL from catching Pokémon.
- Take a few snapshots during Community Day for a surprise.

Analysis
As you can see, I caught almost all the Solosis I saw during the CD. This was because I played the CD leisurely from home. I depended on Incense Spawns while not moving about that much.
Based on that, these are the XP, Stardust, Candy and Candy XL per catch.
- XP per catch: 2,780
- Stardust per catch: 2,849
- Candy per catch: 12
- Candy XL per catch: 1
Furthermore, analyzing the base XP and Stardust per catch for the Solosis caught shows the following. This is the XP and Stardust gained if other activities were not included in the previously calculated total XP and total Stardust gained
