Toedscool debuts in Pokémon GO during the return of Adventure Week. It’s that time again to go out and explore. Have an adventure in Pokémon GO during the week starting on Tuesday, July 29, at 10:00 a.m. local time. The Adventure Week then continues until Sunday, August 3, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. local time.
The Woodear Pokémon Toedscool debuts in Pokémon GO. Likewise, its Evolution, Toedscruel, will make its Pokémon GO debut! You can use 50 Toedscool Candy to evolve Toedscool into Toedscruel.
In addition to Toedscool debut, Shiny Wiglett will also make its debut in Pokémon GO. Trainers might encounter Shiny Wiglett, if lucky.
July 2025 Adventure Week Bonuses – Toedscool debuts in Pokémon GO
Trainers participating in the Adventure Week will have access to the following during the event.
- 2× XP for catching Pokémon.
- Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense) activated during the event will last for two hours.
Wild Encounters
The following Pokémon will appear more frequently in different areas.
- Cities: Snubbull, Trubbish, Elgyem, and Sizzlipede. Some Trainers might encounter Espurr.
- Forests or Grassland: Skwovet, Fidough, Smoliv, and Tadbulb. Some Trainers might encounter Toedscool.
- Mountains: Hippopotas, Drilbur, and Rufflet. Some Trainers might encounter Gligar.
- Beaches or Water: Inkay, Mareanie, Dewpider, Sandygast, and Wiglett.
Furthermore, the Adventure Week will have different Research Tasks to get Trainers engaged in the event. These are as follows.
- Event-themed Field Research tasks. Complete Field Research tasks to earn Stardust, Rare Candy, and encounters with event-themed Pokémon.
- Free Timed Research. Complete the free Timed Research tasks to earn one Incense, four Rare Candy, encounters with event-themed Pokémon, and more.
- Paid Timed Research. For US$1.99 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency), you’ll be able to access event-exclusive Timed Research. Complete the paid Timed Research tasks to earn three Lucky Eggs, four Rare Candy, encounters with event-themed Pokémon, including Beldum, Sandygast, Fidough, and more.
