The new update to Pokémon GO Shadow Raids will take effect from Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. PDT (GMT -7). This update is set to begin starting with the Crown Clash: Taken Over event.
The new update to Pokémon GO Shadow Raids will allow Trainers from around the world to participate in Shadow Raids remotely with Remote Raid Passes. This means that all Shadow Raids during the week and the weekends can be joined via Remote Raid Pass.
In addition to this, the daily Remote Raid limit will increase from five to 10. Participating in Shadow Raids will count towards the daily limit of Remote Raids. This change will remain in effect after the conclusion of the event. However, on special events, the maximum Remote Raid limits for Shadow Raids may increase.
Prepare for battle! Gather with a global community of Trainers and enjoy the thrill of battling and catching powerful Pokémon.
