Pokémon Type of the Week: Water

For the week of August 12th to August 18th, 2023, I caught 1,754 Pokémon in Pokémon GO. Most of which are of the Water-type Pokémon. Although there are a lot of double-typing Pokémon in Pokémon GO, I caught a total of 576 Pokémon which share the Water-type with other Pokémon types.

The huge number of Water-type Pokémon caught this week is a result of the August Community Day in Pokémon GO which featured Froakie, a water-type Pokémon. I caught a total of 363 Froakie during the Community Day on Sunday, August 13, 2023.
