Apples in Pokémon GO are new evolution items that can be discovered in the wild. However, they will not be generally available. Trainers will be able to find them based on chance i.e. you will find them in the wild if you are lucky. You can collect the Apples by tapping on them.
Tapping on Apples in the wild will award either Tart Apples, Sweet Apples, or encounters with a Pokémon – including Applin. Remember, finding Apples, and the rewards are based on chance.
In addition, Apples will have an increased chance of appearing at Mossy Lure Modules.
Apples in Pokémon GO will make its debut on Thursday, April 24, at 10:00 a.m. local at the start of the Sweet Discoveries event.
